Er… Is this kinda’ like that ultra-lame, ultra-pandering “promise zone” initiative he started a few weeks ago? Via the NYT:
On the heels of the Senates passage of a long-awaited farm bill, the Obama administration is to announce on Wednesday the creation of seven regional climate hubs to help farmers and rural communities respond to the risks of climate change, including drought, invasive pests, fires and floods. …
In substance, the creation of the climate hubs is a limited step, but it is part of a broader campaign by the administration to advance climate policy wherever possible with executive authority. The action is also part of a push to build political support for the administrations more divisive moves on climate change in particular, the Environmental Protection Agencys regulations on coal-fired power plants.
Tom Vilsack, the secretary of agriculture and a former Iowa governor, is to announce the creation of the climate hubs at a White House briefing.
For generations, Americas farmers, ranchers and forest landowners have innovated and adapted to challenges, Mr. Vilsack is to say, according to prepared remarks. Today, they face a new and more complex threat in the form of a changing and shifting climate, which impacts both our nations forests and our farmers bottom lines.
Well. The seven “hubs” and several “sub-hubs” are going to be set up at already-existing USDA facilities and it looks like this really only amounts to some flimsy administrative reshuffling with a nice alliterative name tacked on, but Obama has been talking a big game about all of the executive actions he’s going to implement to “act” on climate change wherever he can and where Congress won’t. The greens have been mighty upset with him lately about his “all of the above” energy platform and what looks like the pending inevitably (…maybe?) of the Keystone XL pipeline, and he has to do something to try and mitigate their complaints, I suppose. You might think that basically cutting the coal industry off at the knees via regulatory fiat would be enough… but it never is.
Another brain fart from the Dear Leader.
IOW, Mother of All Farm Bills via Executive Order. And the farm pimps all rejoiced and waved brightly colored banners.
Who authorized funds for this? What line item in budget?
They are high paying PR jobs staffed by Obama loyalists to spin the local/ regional media
Here are a couple of replys to posts from another site I am posting as I think they are relevant to this Agenda 21 nonsense: thanks to the posters if they see this - don’t mean to plagiarize.

Ever heard of the Delphi Technique for meetings, Sod? My guess is probably not.
The agenda’s goal is not to send an army to kill you...yet. The goal is to rezone, redistribute, outlaw private property. and make things “green” and “sustainable”. You can’t shoot your way out of that.
The goal is to make private property (white people, civilization) “unsustainable” for the global economy, impose carbon taxes on wealthy white nations and give the money to redevelop the third world, circumvent the US Constitution by taking away 2A rights and private guns, eliminate private property rights, and imposing “regionalism” and “communitarianism” on everyone.
This is already happening in many cities, including mine. Bikeable, Walkable, Fair Share, Equitable, Green, Environmentally Friendly, Sustainable, etc. Using taxpayer money to pay for our own destruction:
https://americanfreedomwatchradio.com/?page_id=221
There are thousands of Non Government Organizations (NGOs) using TAXPAYER MONEY and Foundation grants to rezone entire cities, making private property “unsustainable.” Ford Foundation, LISC, and CICF are a few.
The city planners have just “rezoned” our entire city into regions, and they are already saying no to certain types of development.
Get a clue, educate yourself, and quit being such an asshole.
We’re on the same team, and you are not special.
I have a friend who is an EMT in southern Lancaster County Pennsylvania. It’s a very rural farming area full of Amish farms. She recently reported a change up in the accreditation exams for EMTs, which is a volunteer job her group does FOR FREE. First, the exam has been made 5x harder. It now has a high entry fee to take the test. Then there are licensing fees of well over $1,000.00 to work this volunteer job. Then there’s new fees and taxes on the fire company. The cost is getting so high it is crippling ambulance service. When i asked what the future holds she said “no more ambulances”.
These volunteers are true yeoman citizens. Proud people doing for themselves. Just the kind of people our elites look down on.
This is Agenda 21 in action. It’s a thousand tiny cuts designed to make the rural lifestyle untenable. Tax vital services out of existence.
In Maryland the Department of Natural Resources has declared it is illegal for your cow to piss in these tiny little streams that runs through pastures in these parts. To comply the farmers will have to fence off all the tiny little runoff rivulets. The cost will become intolerable.
If you live on a septic system the state will eventually come to you and demand you upgrade at some ungodly cost. You’ll sell and move to that cute little place and drive your electric car before eyou pay 8x the current value of the job for your new septic.
I live in a rural county in Maryland. The generational wealth is in land out here. Annapolis is pushing an environmental plan called Plan Maryland. It has 4 tiers of land use. The goal is to lock as much land up into permanent non-use. They want to steal generational wealth from the old-timers. We will all end up in multi use four floor 2 bedroom apartments in our 20 minute communities. Newark Delaware, home to the University of Delaware, has gone insane tearing down older house and buildings and building these mixed use cookie cutter buildings. It’s like the Truman Show here.
Agenda 21 is here now and it’s already well advanced. It stealthily outlaws white flight. Research it, read up on it. And guess what? When you read what it’s promoters say it’s scarier then reading what it’s enemies say!
I own a farm, so I guess I qualify as a farm pimp. If you're interested in a few facts (which from your post, I doubt, but there may be others who are):
- Approximately 80% of this $1 trillion Farm Bill is for food stamps - not farmers! Liberals have to hide their socialist spending addictions under such non-descript names, like the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Affordable Care Act (ACA). BTW, the so-called $23 billion cut (over 10 years) is really just a reduction in the rate of increase. It actually represents an inflation-adjusted increase of $258 billion. Thats a 37% increase in real spending - most of which will NOT go to farmers.
- Americans spend 10% of their incomes on food the lowest of any country.
- For every $1 spent on food, farmers receive less than 12 cents for the raw products.
- Farmers will need to double food production by 2050 to keep pace with the worlds population.
I'll give them man made global warming with a nice hard iceball to their mugs...
We have a weapon more powerful... than any in the whole arsenal of the British Empire! That weapon... is our refusal!
