The stories told by five top Syrian Christian leaders about the horrors their churches are experiencing at the hands of Islamist extremists are biblical in their brutality.
But they are emerging as part of a concerted push by Syrian Christians to get the U.S. to stop its support for rebel groups fighting Syrian president Bashar al Assad. The US must change its politics and must choose the way of diplomacy and dialogue, not supporting rebels and calling them freedom fighters, says Nalbandian.
Given the United States increased support for non-terrorist rebel groups in the wake of the Assad regimes use of chemical weapons, the religious leaders mission is a long shot. The bishops are asking the United States to exert pressure on countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Turkey to stop supporting and sending terrorist fighters to Syria. The real problem is that the strong military opposition on the ground is a foreign opposition, Awad explains, arguing that US support of opposition groups means support for foreign terrorist fighters. They are the ones killing and attacking churches and clergy and nuns and burning houses and eating human livers and hearts and cutting heads, Awad says.

Oh that’ll move Obama real fast.
We know exactly what he won’t do now...
Is there anything the House can do on this? I’m willing to burn phone lines to help these people.
Save Thy people, O Lord,
and bless Thine inheritance.
Grant victory to Thy Church over her enemies,
and protect Thy people by Thy Holy Cross!
Obama’s mission in life is to destroy Christianity and Judaism.
You would think that if you are providing money, weapons, and training to the “rebels” you would be in a position to tell them and your Saudi and Turkish partners that your help is conditioned on the rebels protecting the Christians. You could tell them, most Americans are Christians and if you want our help, the Christians have to be protected. Do not touch a hair on their heads.
You would think. And our Turkish and Saudi and Syrian allies, out of respect for us and because they value our help, would go to great lengths to make sure noncombatant Christians were not harmed.
You would think.
bttt
Everything Dear Leader does is against the church and synagogue, Christians and Jews all around the world. We’ve got three more years of this. Elections have consequences. Pray for the Christians over there. Pray fir Israel. And please pray for America. We will be judged and right now it sure ain’t looking good.
Note the comments to this biased anti-Assad anti-Christian article by “JanFearing”. That person spoke the truth.
I would join in your efforts. The suffering of the Christians of Syria is terrible. Their demands must be heard. No more aid for terrorists.
Why would Obama do that???? He and his party are anti-Christian TOO.
Yes, they put on a facade of Christianity....kind of like Bill and Hill pretend they are happily married. Or like Miley Cyrus makes believe she is an entertainer.....
Obama and the treasonous US Congress could not care.
THEY have three simple goals.
THEY are to remain EXEMPT —with Islam— from ObamaCARE,
and they will continue to arm al Qaeda against
the American people WHILE keeping the borders open.

Israel was always right....Maybe you are finally realizing this. It is Christians + Jews versus Muslims
The Obvious breakdown here is that Sunni Muslims are more likely to go on rampages against Christians. While Shii’te and Alewite Muslims usually put them on ignore. Many Alewite Muslims have Virgin Mary images on their walls. They have a Virgin Mary cult within Alewite Islam
Impeachment? Yeah, they can cut off funding... But they won’t
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

Call your congressman or woman and in the strongest terms possible tell them to stop supporting Al Qaeda in Syria.
