Part I – Before the Convention: Mythbusting
Michael Farris, head of the COS Project, will kick things off on February 3 at 8pm EST by doing some myth busting. A number of objections have been raised against a Convention of States, and Michael would like to respond to a few of them.
Michael will give a brief presentation, after which you'll have the chance to ask him questions pertaining to Article V and the Convention of States process.

I’m battling the flu and went horizontal after pinging the list. What did you take away from the tele-townhall? Does our movement have a chance?
The presenters were very knowledgeable and very confident.
They were clear to stat the things that we know to be true
and to differentiate them from the things that we just don’t know yet.
One thing that was clearly explained was that the various states could
and probably would send varying numbers of delegates to the convention,
but for voting purposes within the convention, it would be one state, one vote.
It will take more grass roots interest and involvement to build momentum.
Sorry to hear of your illness, I have been battling “enraged sinuses”, myself.

Now, if only Ted Cruz would openly join the movement, tell the world the senate was corrupted by the 17th, that its repeal is an absolute prerequisite to restoration of freedom.
Yep, we've had several nights well below freezing. Sometimes we go an entire winter without a freeze at all.

That area you are in...I remember a couple of the rare cold snaps.
The math behind the design loads for home heating typically had not
taken such events into account, and when they came, home units
would run full blast continuously and just not be able to keep up.
Later, I lived a few years in far south Fla and many of the
homes there had no provision whatsoever for heating.
When the rare event did come, there was nothing to be done
to try to heat your home, because there was no furnace at all.
