A Texas ophthalmologist and co-founder of AmericanDoctors4Truth tore down the curtain on Obamacare last week, describing President Obama’s “signature” legislative achievement for the con game of forced labor that it really is.
When she wrote to the Aetna insurance company canceling her participation in its offerings, Dr. Kristin Held of San Antonio was informed she is contractually bound to care for the company’s patients for another year — as though Obamacare not only re-configured the American health care system, it repealed the 13th Amendment at the same time.
In her letter dated Jan. 30, the long-time and vocal opponent of Obamacare wrote that the “law of the land” Obamacare is made up of “politically-expedient mandates, rewards, penalties, rules and regulations with which I cannot rationally or morally treat my patients and run a practice, much less interpret, implement or comply.”
In the letter, Held describes a strange form of care in which a doctor’s services are sold without the doctor’s knowledge or consent.
“So here we are,” Held wrote, “you are getting new business offering health insurance plans featuring my services without my consent under terms which are unacceptable to me …

She’s absolutely 100% correct on the involuntary servitude part, but further it’s also a violation of long-standing contract law.
I think it's the other way around. Obamacare is like a ball and chain clamped around the Democrats' necks. I believe it's why we're seeing so many senior congressional Dems refusing to run for re-election now. There will be more.

I want to just scream this out to everyone I meet, to the slugs who refuse to join the rest of us who are the boots on the ground of this war. To all the people who prefer to go on with their social lives, fun vacations and unimportant activities that take up their time, instead of acknowledging what is happening in this country, and asking themselves what THEY can do to return this country to the Constitution, liberty and freedom. Disgusting, self-cetered, uninterested in what is happening in the here and now in this country, that's not important to them..but parties, the next best restaurant and bar to search out, sports events, entertainment events, social events of any and all kinds, now THAT'S what commands their interest. May they be the FIRST to go down when this war we're fighting gets to the melting point, and it's do or die decision making time.

There is one common element to all totalitarian governments be they far left or far right or anything in between. Any citizen will be a criminal at anytime the government want you prosecuted, jailed, financially destroyed or put to death. All authoritarian governments rule by fear.

Only because doctors let it happen. It is not acceptable to me, a patient. Everyone who provides services of any type is a provider. My mechanic is a provider.

Unfortunately, the 49% take glee in the “rich” doctor having it stuck to her. Even to their own detriment. After all, she did not build that, somebody else made that happen for her.

Thats completely false. ACA was wholly conceived and enacted by the democrat party and a sympathetic press. Barry had little to do with it other than to affix his signature. Lets be correct and give credit where credit is due.
