New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, after a low-key initial response to Fridays explosive allegations about his involvement in a bridge-closing scandal, mounted an aggressive defense late Saturday afternoon, attacking The New York Times and a former political ally in an email to friends and allies obtained by POLITICO. Bottom line David Wildstein will do and say anything to save David Wildstein, the email from the governors office says, referring to the former appointee who reignited the controversy.

Um, no.
I don’t have to look at him at all for anything.
“you gotta take a look at him just for his ability to battle the press and win.”
Newt is another one that is pretty good at it.
To be honest, I don’t like that the press is making an all out scandal over something their side does all the time with impunity. I don’t like how all of Obama’s violations of the law and the constitution go uncomented on, by both parties. However, I think Christy is going to get through this with his power base intact, if not increased. I was and still am furious at Christy for chumming up to Obama back in 2012. When this Bridge-Gate started, I was somewhat happy to see him being publicly dissed and slapped around by his ‘new friends’ the socialists and progressives that Christy had betrayed us for. He knows he is in trouble and could lose everything. Christy sees what has happened to Bob McDonnell former Governor of Virgina, who got punished for taking gifts, just as most other Governors do. I’ve never seen Christy look so serious and introspective. Still, though, he does not hide. I think this Acid-Bath-Baptism experience has
punished Christy enough. We still need his skills on our side, until someone of similar potential breaks through.
I don’t like him either but I do notice how extreme the attacks are when it’s against somebody that the left thinks might be a real challenge to whomever they have declared as their candidate. The GOP is not much better. Look at how all of them attacked West. They couldn’t allow a Conservative black to challenge obama. Look how viciously they attacked Sara Palin. They were not nearly as vicious to Mitt Romney. They have to destroy Christie because he would be too strong against Clinton. Just my opinion. They can’t take the chance that any Conservatives will vote for him out of desperation either. They have met their match with Christie though. If there is something he’s not it’s weak and a quitter.
Maybe Wildstein just isn’t willing to take one for the team. :-)
My bad. Thanks.
no worries
