I was on this yesterday.

As soon as Christie starts hanging onto the wheelwell of the bus, they drag out this spoile.

He’s got his stupid movie ready to go, goes on Fallon, Rush is hawking him, ‘oh if we had only seen this Mitt without all that campaign silliness’, then, with perfect timing, he says he already has a response for Candy Crowley. THat was yesterday. A mere year and a half after Benghazi, which if we want to think back that far, to the horrific ushering in of this president Romney displayed, was the subject of the Crowley deal.

GOP will never allow a conservative or even a patriot in there.

Romney pushed everyone out of the way and ushered in this. He’s getting ready to do the same for whatever criminal they want to put in there next, but it won’t be this conservative hating liberal GOP poseur.

Don’t be fooled.

GOP insiders want him to come back

The real wacko bird wing of the party. They also want to legalize millions of illegal Democrats.

It would be awesome if they could find a woman to contend against Hillary. Democrats are now at the level of the World’s Greatest magic performers when it comes to playing race, gender and class cards, which is why I am having a hard time putting faith in any upper class white male to win it for the GOP and why I think any male running against Hillary is gonna have serious problems.

PURPLE is what you get when you blend RED WITH BLUE. This is a progressive Log Cabin company wanting a BLUE republican progressive to run again... and no one is more blue than mitt... he is ted kennedy junior.

There’s also this

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2014/01/29/Poll-Sarah-Palin-Has-Highest-Favorability-Rating-Among-GOP-Primary-Voters

“According to Public Policy Polling:
The best liked person we tested on this poll with Republican primary voters is actually Sarah Palin who has a 70/20 favorability rating. She’s followed by Huckabee at 64/18, Ryan at 58/18, Paul at 58/21, Bush at 56/18, Cruz at 45/20, and Christie at 40/38. Most of those numbers are similar to what they were a month ago but Christie’s seen a substantial drop from +18 at 47/29 a month ago to his new +2 net favorability”

Both are lefty pollsters, but I’ve never even heard of “the Virginia-based bipartisan policy firm Purple Strategies”.

Don’t be played. The democrats know they are toast & they’re going to do their usual BS in the meantime.

(That said, imho, a President Romney would very likely have pushed hard for more gun control after Sandy Hook. As bad as 0bama is, I’m not sure we wouldn’t have been just about as bad off with Mitt. I’m just sayin’)

Hopefully he won’t; he’s too establishment and the second time will be more internally divisive than last time, sending even more of the GOP to sit it out than the numbers that did in 2012.

The purpose of this is to keep moving the party left, to keep trying to strengthen any influence that Romney can have in attacking conservatives, shaping the party issues, and in his endorsement value.

Could get interesting.

Romney wants a repeat.
McCain has hinted at a repeat.
JBush is thinking seriously about jumping in.
Christie still wants to try.
Huckabee thinks he has a shot and he can claim to be the conservative.
Ryan thinks he has a shot, but like Rubio, their amnesty push killed any hopes they have.

Santorum is hinting.
Perry, too.
Trump would take it if all the others would just let him have the nomination without all that primary and debate stuff.

==

Not a one of the above would be what you might call a quality candidate.

==

Then there is fear and trembling in the MSM board rooms, the DNC board room and the GOPelite board room that Cruz might jump in.

If the conservatives can coalesce behind one GOOD candidate, they might be able to triangulate against the GOPelites this time. But they need a GOOD candidate early, and not one of those semi/pseudo-conservatives that are conservative only when it is convenient or necessary to win an election.

I’m not going to bash Mitt, Lord knows he (or a ham sandwich) would be a helluva lot better that what we have now. But it would be foolish to run a retread of any kind. Nor, sweet merciful Jesus, do we need to run a Bush. Any Bush.

The thing is, I’m not sure who we can run that is any better, and frankly I dont think it matters. The leeches are simply too many.

We didn’t need Mitt the first time, or the second and certainly not a third.

Sadly the liberals in the GOPe will put up Krispy for the nom.

All “politically blue areas” of the U.S. and U.S. territories continue to be “stuck on RINO Republicanism” and anti-conservative, when it comes to “GOP only” polls.

Boy, every day I feel more and more glad I didn’t vote for that moron. I still maintain that he could have easily ended up more damaging than Obama.
