Could it be that this is just the beginning of a DC exodus? Could it also be that many of the politicians leaving office is due to their sincere fear for their personal safety when the SHTF? Maybe by their leaving office they are hoping to be over looked when/if the pay back starts.

Waxman won last time against a rich squishy-Republican-turned-”Independent” by only 54-46.

So there’s a sliver of hope for an R pickup. No chance, however, for a real conservative in that district.
