New York Times columnist and Nobel laureate economist Paul Krugman is questioning Oklahoma Republican Sen. Tom Coburns claim that Obamacare caused him to lose his cancer specialist.
Its a garbage story, it really is, said Krugman in a back-and-forth with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich on CNN after the State of the Union on Tuesday.
Coburn, who announced earlier this month that hell resign from office at the end of the year as he battles his fourth bout with cancer, told MSNBCs Morning Joe that his oncologist was no longer covered under his health care plan.

Probably Medicare is primary, and Obama supplement.
To: Coldwater Creek
Except that you don’t purchase supplemental policies through Obamacare, that I’m aware of.

Ive posted on the other Coburn threads that I dont understand why a guy my age is on Obamacare rather than Medicare. Probably on Medicare Part A --- hospital coverage, and Obama Care instead of Medicare Part B, C & D for his supplement coverages -- Doctors, Dentist, Medications, etc.

That is, technically, correct. The statement I saw from Coburn didn't say he lost his oncologist. He said his oncologist was no longer covered under his Obamacare insurance, but he was still able to pay out-of-pocket to maintain his services.
