For Americans concerned about their privacy, the NSA data grabs are daunting, but what about the data grabs happening inside your own home, perpetrated not by the government, but by your coffee machine?
Here are nine appliances and other systems inside your house that may be spying on you right now, or used to spy on you in the future.
1. Your Television
2. Your Cable Box
3. Your Dishwasher, Clothes Dryer, Toaster, Clock Radio and Remote Control

5. Your Heat and A/C
6. Security Alarms
7. Insulin Pumps and Pacemakers

“Researchers have been able to hack into TVs with ease, allowing them to turn on cameras and microphones, spying on families living rooms.”
No chance, my newest TV is 15 years old and we don’t any cable box.
I hope they flash the picture from my TV on Obama’s teleprompter tomorrow night.
Gee, having KS watch me fry bacon would be very weird indeed..scary. Tofu is good if made properly but not often.
What is a Zot-Drone?
“What is a Zot-Drone?”
That would be a drone that our beloved government would send down to put the ZOT on you for eating Non-approved foods.
Dont want your TV spying on you? Dont connect it to the internet?
Wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they have managed to connect tv’s to the internet without people having to physically connect them to their computers. If I was in the Big Brother business, thats what I would do.
Someone needs to put this technology into relatives' hands. That would end me getting useless Christmas and birthday gifts. My relatives don't spy enough on me. My daughters have bought me duplicates of stuff I already own that is in clear sight when they visit (things I only need one of).

“Its a liberating feeling.”
Yup. “Freedom”’s just another word for “nothin’ left to lose.” (Kristofferson)

I think we all may know someone who thinks like that!
Conspicuously absent: Your telephone. Even the old rotary phones were capable of collecting. They just connect and activate the mic. Nowadays a call showing no caller ID and a dead line is a probable tell-tale. If you get calls like this try breaking the circuit, then place a call and hang up. If you get another no-ID callback shortly thereafter consider yourself on a watchlist.
I am not off the grid entirely but close.
