AJ McCarron: 'Really Demonic' Performances at Grammys Show 'There's a Lot of Evil in the World'
Breitbart Sports ^ | 27 JAN 2014 | Sports Staff

Former Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron, who is preparing for the NFL Draft, was watching the Grammys on Sunday and felt that the "really demonic" performances showed that "there is a lot of evil in the world."

At the Grammys, Katy Perry dressed up as a witch and was "burned at the stake" in her act while gay couples were married to the song "same love." Though it was unclear what performance prompted the tweet, McCarron later re-tweeted a response in which one of his followers wrote, "I know right? I can only imagine what Katy's Preacher Father is thinking."

Other performances included Jay Z grabbing his wife's Beyonce's butt on stage and artists Macklemore and Ryan Lewis singing "Same Love" during the mass wedding. And Justin Bieber was not even at the awards show. . . .

Just like the Bible says not to partake in homosexual activity, it says don’t get tattoos.

“The once almost shocking campfire scene in BLAZING SADDLES is now the type of humor they have on Disney channel and other kiddie shows.”

It’s the only type of humor they have left, and they keep using it for all it’s worth. Except the jolt that comes from depicting something shocking becomes less and less each time it’s used, so they have to grope ever lower. How low can they go? Well, they’re busy plumbing the depths of human experience.

They should be ashamed, but they’re proud of the cultural destruction they’re inflicting on us. Those who applaud the cultural disintegration of America should wise up, but I doubt they will until it all comes crashing down. You see, it’s considered edgy to tear apart everything that is good in society, but what does one do when there’s no structure left?

BTW, I agree with many things the libertarians want, but many of them don’t understand that just because someone should have the liberty to do everything they please, that doesn’t mean it’s good to do so.

A lot of rockers are conservatives, very few “pop stars” are.

I think the difference is, that most rock stars started out in their garages and then worked and worked and worked for their stardom.

Pop stars are created. A little talent, good looks and a lot of wiggle and a lot of jiggle, spoon fed music and lyrics and a lot of promotion by the producer. Nothing requiring work by the pop star.

Exception might be Taylor Swift (only to an extent)

You’ve picked two specific songs from a specific generation of rock. “Rock & Roll” to kids in the 50s is considered “oldies” to people my age. Rock music in the 70s was evolving but not to where rock music is today.

Rock music to me is guitar-heavy melodic music with meaningful lyrics. Again, nothing involved in the Grammys last night qualifies as “rock” music. That’s “pop” music. Pop is innately garbage.

And Pop Stars are disposable, and if you want to get anywhere, you’d better toe the party line, of those who control the entertainment industry, which means you’d better shout at the top of your lungs, “Homosexuality is the greatest thing since sliced bread.”

It also says not to eat shell fish or pigs or any type of scavenger creature. Don’t lie (even white lies or fibs). Don’t steal (or cheat). No adultery (this includes looking lustfully). No bearing false witness. No judging.

My only point with Taylor is she is actually somewhat talented. (Though I can't stand her whiney, nasally voice.) She does write her own songs (or at least some of them) When she needs a new song, she dates someone new...then they break up. Voila, perfect material for a whiney song, for a whiney, nasally voice.

The one pop star I thought was something, was Debbie Gibson. But after a couple of albums she disappeared.

Yeah. And some other things.

Jesus said eat anything is OK.

I don’t remember the verses where he said go ahead and get tatto’d, though.

Megadeth ( Dave Mustaine) has been spot on for years. Great music, not as heavy as one would think, positive lyrics, complex rhythms, advanced guitar solos and awesome cover art pointed directly at Statists, leftists and utopians:

To Tattoo or Not To?

This is a question many Christians struggle with. I believe tattooing falls into the category of “disputable matters” where the Bible is not clear. But wait a minute, you might be thinking. The Bible says in Leviticus 19:28, “Do not cut your bodies for the dead, and do not mark your skin with tattoos. I am the Lord.” (NLT) How much clearer can that be?

It’s important, however, to look at the verse in context. This passage in Leviticus, including the surrounding text, is specifically dealing with the pagan religious rituals of the people living around the Israelites. God’s desire is to set his people apart from other cultures. The focus here is prohibiting worldly, heathen worship and witchcraft. God forbids his holy people to engage in idolatrous, pagan worship and sorcery which imitates the heathens. He does this out of protection, because he knows this will lead them away from the one true God.

It’s interesting to observe verse 26, “Do not eat meat that has not been drained of its blood,” and verse 27, “Do not trim off the hair on your temples or trim your beards.” Well, certainly many Christians today eat non-kosher meats and get haircuts without participating in the forbidden worship of pagans. Back then these customs were associated with pagan rites and rituals. Today they are not.

So, the important question remains, is getting a tattoo a form of pagan, worldly worship still forbidden by God today? My answer is, this matter is disputable, and should be treated as a Romans 14 issue.

If you are considering the question, “To tattoo or not to?” I think the more serious questions to ask yourself are: What are my motives for wanting a tattoo? Am I seeking to glorify God or draw attention to myself? Will my tattoo be a source of contention for my loved ones? Will getting a tattoo cause me to disobey my parents? Will my tattoo cause someone who is weak in the faith to stumble?

Just reading last night in Acts, where Peter had a vision, where unclean animals were lowered in a sheet held up ay the four corners. God told him to kill and eat. This was done three times. After which Peter said he didn't unclean things. God told him not to call anything unclean that he had made clean, referring to Gentiles.

Paul also talked about eating meat offered to idols or other foods viewed as unclean.

My point is, that some people have "issues" with tattoos, and can recite chapter and verse and get their underwear in a bunch. But more than likely will be involved with some of the other things I mentioned.

(By the way, I don't have any tattoos and don't really care to get any, and when I see someone with them like AJ's, I usually lose a certain amount of respect)
