You’ve picked two specific songs from a specific generation of rock. “Rock & Roll” to kids in the 50s is considered “oldies” to people my age. Rock music in the 70s was evolving but not to where rock music is today.
Rock music to me is guitar-heavy melodic music with meaningful lyrics. Again, nothing involved in the Grammys last night qualifies as “rock” music. That’s “pop” music. Pop is innately garbage.
Call it whatever, pop-rock, it is all bad. Rock has created the drugs-sex-godless culture in America. This is why half the country supports a pres like Obama.
