Impending Democrat Election Disaster

A Quinnipiac University National Poll released January 22nd reveals that American voters rate President Barack Obama’s leadership on the economy, jobs, and healthcare as very poor; his only positive marks come from fighting terrorism.

According to a Gallup Poll, after the same number of days in office for President Obama and President Bush, they have virtually identical public approval ratings of 46%. However, Americans are 24% more dissatisfied with their government under Obama than under Bush.

The president’s party usually suffers significant congressional election losses in the sixth year of his administration. However, with Obama’s popularity at the same Bush levels that caused Republicans huge losses in 2006 but with voter dissatisfaction with government roughly 50% higher, the Democratic Party appears poised to suffer an epic election disaster in 2014.

I don’t get it.

Here we have a nice article detailing why it should be a good year for conservatives at the ballot box. Yet.....most of the comments are quite negative. I’m not carried away with euphoria about the posible 2014 prospects but this thread has mostly dark and gloomy replies.

I reckon this supports the belief that many people have an inherently negative outlook and thus desire blame and conflict over tranquility.

Their glass is half-empty always. Every silver-lining conceals a rancid underbelly, etc.

I don’t think any of this matters. What matters is that about half the country is on the governemnt dole and will vote to stay that way. The tipping point has been reached.

Because we see the GOP, with a golden opportunity before it, doing everything they possibly can to squander it. From the ridiculous budget deals to the insensible amnesty push, the GOP is acting like a party that doesn't want to be in the majority.

I will not vote for any GOP candidate who votes “yes” on immigration reform. If given no other choice but to vote for a rino or a democrat, I will abstain from voting for either. However, I will vote on the rest of the ballot.

Because we been there and done that. We've watched time after time as the pubbies screw it up and lose. It's almost as if they have a death wish.

I reckon we'll hold the House in November. But I doubt we can take the Senate.

Too much vote fraud by the RATS. Prolly more voter fraud in November that we've ever seen before. Why? Because the RATS know the pussy pubbies won't call them on it. We have an unfortunate track record.

I understand your pessimism..we've all been burned before..but I actually think there's a greater chance of 2014 being a wave election, than not..

1. Obamacare's mess continues to grow, and grow, and grow..the impact will be huge.<> 2. Unlike 2012, Obama's not atop the ticket, so the LIVs won't be out in force..their turnout will be off considerably..

3. The young folks (18+)..who voted for him overwhelmingly.. are changing their minds..as the polls show..

I think the GOP gains about 5-10 seats in the House, and 7-10 in the Senate..

That’s a brilliant strategy.

Don’t bother to lift a finger to fight what these maggots are doing to our country. Just sit back and let them walk away with it.

Take a few minutes to go and find a member of the military or a Vet and tell them that everything they busted their ass for isn’t worth your effort to do your part.

I hate to say it, but people who share your attitude disgust me.
