January 26, 2014 10:28 AM Carney: Obamacare 'Absolutely Worth It' if Dems Lose the Senate By Andrew Johnson
Even if Obamacare proves to be electoral Kryptonite for Democrats in this years midterms, the White House still believes the health-care law was worth the political hit.
The answer is it is absolutely worth it, no matter what happens politically, press secretary Jay Carney told ABCs Jon Karl. In fact, Carney didnt expect running against Obamacare to even be a winning message for Republicans because theyve got to explain what repeal [of the law] means.
“because theyve got to explain what repeal [of the law] means.
Be happy to.
It means keeping the plans and doctors you want. It means premiums and deductibles costing less than half of what theyve been pushed up to so far. It means no death panels. It means more freedom.
Carney and Obama and Pelosi... this shows me how noble they are. /S
If it’s not enforced then is it really a law? obunghole has simply declared the “law” to not apply in so many cases now that what’s the point. obamneycare is the equivalent of one of those peculiar blue laws from colonial times like “No walking a goose on a leash” or “No naked bathing”. The only suckers are those who are what can’t be enforced - namely the dumb saps signing up for the individual mandate.
WHEN will these idiots wake up? When will we atop electing these idiots.
IF, and it’s only about 50/50, the GOP takes back the Senate this cycle it will be only because the Dems have a lot of seats to defend in Red States. In 2016 the GOP loses 7 seats MINIMUM in blue States.
And so what if they get the Senate? They don’t have the WH. Nothing will get done except that the RINOs will feel more emboldened.
Why we don’t get out a solid Conservative message is utterly beyond me.
My tag line explains it all.
The seed of cancer is implanted is what he means. It may not perform like they intended but it will do enough damage to destroy what is in place so that it could never revert back.
Of course they do...
What the Obama spokes clown suppose to say???
"We need to repeal ACA to keep the Senate" ? That's not going to happen...
Why should they care about repealing ACA to keep the Senate when they have plans to steal the it anyway ?

Woo hoo!! And the first 27% is in!! Thank you all very much!! |
I haven’t seen any well-thought out plan for what it would take to roll it back (while replacing it with something more workable). Surely, it can be done.
Going back to “business as usual” is NOT going to cut it, though. We were clearly on an unsustainable path BEFORE Obamacare.
It’s a ‘Doomsday Machine’, yaknow.
Congre$$, not ObamaCare.
So Obama’s guy is telling his democrat friends not to expect an apology when they lose the Senate.
His arrogance is killing them, too. Lol.
Imagine if the Republicans had a tenth of this level of commitment.
Tea Party now.
Whatever plan is put on the table, the one element that will need to be addressed is the millions who enrolled under ACA for Medicaid...
That cat cannot be put back in the bag...political suicide...
Not sure of the answer to that question...
Pretty much any other part of ACA can be transferred to the states to handle...
The States can pick up enrollees who have subsidies and move them back to reg insurance plans...

In what sense? No one was denied medical treatment. The system was stable and could have functioned indefinitely.
Carney always looked like a 17 year old kid, so now he is growing a beard so he an be taken more seriously. Good luck with that.
Hmmm, I am used to just reflexively disagreeing with Carney. How about it still isn’t worth it, but that could be the silver lining?
Did you also notice that the State Department spokeswoman looks like a college sophomore.
Since Carney and his boss and all the henchpeople have been “explaining” Obamacare by continually LYING, explaining repeal will be a piece of cake. Thanks Sub-Driver.
