An Ohio woman with a history of prostitution stabbed to death a longtime Brother Rice High School teacher in a dispute over money, Orland Park police said Saturday.
Alisha M. Walker, 20, has been named in a no-bond, first-degree murder arrest warrant in the slaying of Alan Filan, 61, in his Orland Park home last weekend, police said. Walker, of Akron, Ohio, was arrested early Friday in Fort Wayne, Ind., and is being held at the Allen County Jail there, awaiting extradition, police said in a news release today.

But I thought it said he was a member of a prominent family. I guess in Crook County, this qualifies for prominent.
Sounds like he hired a hooker and then tried to con her out of the price for her services. Risky choice.
Used to be, “prominent” meant owning a few steel mills, a fleet of ships, a railroad, etc. Today, it means lawyers, lobbyists, etc. Uncle Sam is on life support, and fading fast.....

Hensley said he talked to his niece Friday evening in a phone call from the Allen County Jail. In that phone call, she told him that she and another woman, who also worked for an escort service, had gone to Filans home last weekend.
They had some sort of 2-for-1 special and went over there, Hensley said. This guy got upset because it wasnt what the Internet suggested, or whatever.
Caveat emptor ! 2-for-1 special !
