Filan, a 1974 graduate of Calumet College of St. Joseph's in Whiting, Ind., is part of a prominent Cook County family. His brother, Bill, is a Chicago lobbyist, and his sister, Denise, is a Cook County judge.

But I thought it said he was a member of a prominent family. I guess in Crook County, this qualifies for prominent.

Used to be, “prominent” meant owning a few steel mills, a fleet of ships, a railroad, etc. Today, it means lawyers, lobbyists, etc. Uncle Sam is on life support, and fading fast.....

Bill, is a Chicago lobbyist

His brother probably knows a higher class of hooker. Perhaps out of his price range ?

An article about Bill the lobbyist.
