Kashkari ran the TARP for W, then got fired from PIMCO so we know how well he can manage (/sarcasm). The RINOs are looking desperately for someone to take on Tim Donnelly. Unfortunately, it does not matter for the Gov election since Moonbeam is lock. But with this RINO at the top of the ticket, the crucial down ballot elections to reduce the RAT margin in at least one house of the legislature below 2/3 will be hhurt.

“On social issues, he has described himself as libertarian and “a different kind of Republican”, supporting abortion rights, marriage equality, and a path to legal status for illegal immigrants. He voted against California’s Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in 2008. In 2013 he was one of 131 Republicans who signed a pro-marriage equality amicus curiae brief submitted to the U.S. Supreme Court as part of Hollingsworth v. Perry, the case in which Proposition 8 was ultimately found unconstitutional. Kashkari is a gun owner but “doesn’t object to background checks for all firearm purchases”.
On environmental issues, he voted against California’s Proposition 23, which would have suspended the state law that limits greenhouse gas emissions.[56] He believes climate change is real and man-made. He has spoken positively of fracking and offshore oil drilling.
He voted for Obama in the 2008 presidential election and Republican nominee Mitt Romney in the 2012 election. The San Francisco Chronicle reported in January 2014 that, since 1998, Kashkari had been eligible to vote in 23 elections in California and Pennsylvania but had only voted in 13 of them. His spokesman disputed some aspects of the reporting and said that Kashkari’s Treasury Department service proves his commitment to civic life.”

So, how many governors/representative/senators will the Financial Industry try to get in office? Wouldn't want to take a chance on some Tea Party Republican actually winning and addressing issues in any state, would they? Sheesh!

GOP in CA is a pathetic joke. Spineless, gutless loser wimps. The only candidate worth anything would be Michael Reagan, IMO.

Nah, he only wanted to "pump you up!" But he was nuthin but a political hermaphrodite with shriveled sex organs from steroid abuse, that craved adulation and worship by Cauleeforneea's kindergarten crowds. (pffffffffft!!!)
He went lookin for love in all the wrong places like most Repellican RINOs and blew up our economy with things like the infamous Sierra-Nevada CONswervancy and his stupid Prop 32, etc., etc., etc
Please excuse me while I go puke now!!!

So JOINARNOLD is dead?
No...Gentlemen, we can rebuild him. We have the technology. Neel Kashkari will be that man. Better, stronger, faster, MORE liberal than Arnold ever was before. He is the world's first UBER-RINO, made up of bits and pieces of lesser RINOs. The Six Million Leftist Positions Man!

He makes me think of Arnold Vosloo as the title character in the Brenden Fraiser Mummy movies (before morphing into a nasty undead corpse), and Captain Robau in the opening of the 2009 Star Trek movie. Look, triplets:
