The violent late-night fight that ended with the death of a 23-year-old California woman might have been sparked by a photobomb, a source told the LA Times.
According to a friend, Kim Pham accidentally walked right in front of a camera while another group was snapping photos outside of The Crosby lounge in Santa Ana on Saturday. A verbal argument erupted between Pham's friends and the other group, which quickly dissolved into a brawl as the young woman was pummeled into the ground.
Pham did not survive the beating. She was declared brain dead and taken off life support Tuesday.

according to the article she was fighting with one girl on the girl pulling each other hair and another girl just walked up and kicked her in the head... and that was the end of it. One kick to the head and she was brain dead.
I think people get the impression, from the movies, that fights can go on and on, with kicks and punches being exchanged, and both parties walk away unscathed except for a few bruises. The assailants found out, during this altercation, that kicks to the head can be lethal. They should get multi-decade prison terms as a deterrent.
Someone should do a study to determine what percentage of violent crimes are influenced by marijuana. Does pot makes killing ‘funny’?
Does it dull the pain/regret of doing harm to another?

There are a lot of pot heads in my part of NM.
They are pretty passive, more so than ordinary people I think. Not remotely violent.
They are, however, completely useless people with zero motivation.
A lot of marijuana users also drink and use other drugs.

Passive? The Boston Bombers were pot heads to the extreme. James Holmes was too, I think. And the Virginia Tech killer, etc, etc, and ETC!!!!!!
Mark Wahlberg was addicted to cocaine in his mid-teens. He was hyper-aggressive. How much of that was the cocaine, and how much was Wahlberg being Wahlberg is an open question:

He said the right thing to do would be to try to find the blinded man and make amends, and admitted he has not done so, but added that he was no longer burdened by guilt: "You have to go and ask for forgiveness and it wasn't until I really started doing good and doing right by other people, as well as myself, that I really started to feel that guilt go away. So I don't have a problem going to sleep at night. I feel good when I wake up in the morning."[16]
Her prettiness was probably one of the reasons why they killed her. Envy.
I read they were Hispanic, but the story may have changed in the last 24 hours.

False. It’s used in a euphemistic way. A code word if you will. “Feces” therefore would not work as a code word for “Whites”. Thus, whenever you hear about Whites doing something generally out of character for Whites (e.g. rioting over court cases in which a White man who was obviously guilty was in fact convicted, or a White man fathering 10 to 20 children by 7 to 13 different mothers, or a White family living on welfare for 4 generations, or Whites failing school because getting good grades would be a betrayal of their race, etc). the proper euphemistic term would be “Black” - the exact opposite of White. Wouldn’t that just create more problems?
Back when I waited tables, we referred to them as “Canadians.”
