A good little Irish boy, may he be in heaven today; RIP brave child!
A pro life kid like that is not welcome in NY.
RIP, little hero.
“Investigators believe the fire was caused by an electrical problem”
Consider this a wake up call to check your wiring, at least the obvious stuff like too many extensions and devices plugged in. Also plugs not properly inserted (dangling halfway in and out), broken insulation on cords, etc. Grease buildup on exhaust fans, particularly those in the kitchen.
God bless this hero. No greater love....
Was this thing in the middle of the woods in a ditch?
Way to go, “neighbors”.
Yes. Amazing.
Does the US have the equivalent of the George Cross to award to this boy?
Tyler Doohan, GOD is rewarding you. Tyler, you were a brave young man. RIP, Ty.
He is in a far, far better place than we are. RIP, young man.
Since news articles these days are so poorly written, I often must rely primarily on the numbers presented and construct the narrative myself.
And so, I see the number 6 and add 1 for the boy and 1 for the disabled uncle and I come up with 8. 8 people living in a single trailer including one with disabilities?
Tyler Doohan, 8, alerted his family that there was a fire and helped six people escape the mobile home but died when he went back inside to help his disabled uncle and grandfather.
Agreed.
It may actually have been nine, as the boy’s grandfather also perished in the blaze.
"Investigators believe the fourth-grader then ran to the back of the trailer where his wheelchair-bound uncle, who was missing a part of his leg, was sleeping. He never made it out of the home.
The boys other uncle, Joseph Breyette, said his young nephew heard Smith calling for help inside the house and rushed in to get him."
Hero boy, 8, killed in trailer fire after saving SIX of his sleeping relatives and trying to go back and save his trapped amputee uncle:

He helped 6 get out and he died along with his uncle and grandad, so that makes 9. RIP young man. Your Father must be well pleased with you.
This happened near me.
Prayers for this brave young man, and prayers to the family that he left behind.
He is resting in the Arms of the Lord today. Prayers up for his family.
