De Blasio ‘getting back at us’ by not plowing: UES residents

It really is a tale of two cities — this time with the tony Upper East Side getting the shaft!

Huge swaths of the UES had been not been plowed by early Tuesday evening, according to the city’s own map of snow-plower activity.

“He is trying to get us back. He is very divisive and political,” said writer and life-long Upper East Side mom Molly Jong Fast of Mayor de Blasio.

“By not plowing the Upper East Side, he is saying, ‘I’m not one of them.’ But we have everyone in this area on the Upper East Side. We have rich people, middle class people, and housing projects. We have it all.”

Why can’t they just take the Subway?

Wealthy folks use car services. Snow is not a problem for them. Where they go, they can be late and it's only a minor annoyance. I was in first class one time flying into New York, and I heard them arranging to hold the Concorde for one of the other passengers. Now that's miles.

This story is just marketing for the sheeple, to convince po' folks in NYC that De Blazio is a "leftist" in the sense that THEY think of leftist.

Once again, many of the wealthy know that communism is a scam. It's the po' folks that don't know.

The wealthy are just somewhere in their evening meal, enjoying the high life in Manhattan, scarcely paying attention to the newsaganda. Yes, we'll take another bottle of that Chilean Cabernet before the main course.

My Dad lived on Manhattan (S of 60th) for a few years. Parked his (>10 yr) old car on the street 'till it got stolen.

He may have moved soon after that. Manhattan is just not a place set up for the personal car.
