Shooting at Purdue
(Excerpt) Read more at yahoo.com ...
Not only that, but also add the fact that kids face no consequences for what they do or say online. They threaten, cuss, insult and abuse each other and adults in the most vulgar ways, with zero consequences. That leads them to believe they can do whatever they want in the real world too, without consequences. There is a big disconnect between their decision making and the part of their brain that processes consequences, no doubt aided by the plethora of drugs you mention.
So glad they are safe.
true
Based on my life experience, I would guess you are from the western half or west coast of the US. On several occasions, while living in CA, I was asked where Purdue was. In one case after being accused of being from the east coast, I explained, I went to Purdue,
Him - "Yea. East coast."
Me - "No, you ignorant hermit! Indiana is in the Midwest, in the Great Lakes region of the country, a state away from the Mississippi River and west of the Apalacian Mountains."
Him - "Well, at least you are Ivy League."
I just let that one go. LOL.
Well not quite never.
There was the U/Texas 1966 killing of 16 (or 17 if you include the perp, as is now usually done)
Also, the largest US school death toll was in Clinton County Michigan in the 1920's when 38 students were killed in an elementary school bombing by a distraught nut case.
Our son is there! (He is working on a PhD in Food Safety. B.S. in Poultry Science, M.S. in Microbiology - both from AUBURN.) Just spoke with him about an hour ago. He said everyone was in panic mode and not to worry...
LOL! In the west (NOT all the way west) now but spent the last 36 years in LA and FL.
I think circlecity, who posted “shooter tea partier....” was making a sarcastic post of what the MSM will put out without any investigation.
Circle, am I correct or did you actually report what you heard?
I figured he was joking.
Geography lesson for Californians....
How to find Indiana:
Hold up your left hand with all your fingers together and your thumb sticking out but slightly bent upwards. Now, find a state mostly surrounded by water that looks like your hand. THAT’s Michigan. Now point to the state right below Michigan, the only land that borders that state to the south. THAT’s Indiana.
;o)
Since there are so many shootings at schools, the only way to keep the kids safe is to make school illegal.
We in Ohio giggle at your claim...
One fatality. So sad...this is my alma mater.

Remember, we have to keep it simple for our audience (West Coasters). Let's not confuse them. Ohio, Indiana, Missouri, etc. may as well be in Europe to most lifetime West Coasters. Why do you think they call it "Fly over" country? They couldn't name or pick out a state if their electric car depended on it.
Shouldn’t the idiom “shelter in place” be “cower, scream, die”?
The chicken company is Perdue with an e.
It's interesting that typing Perdue into Google turns up two news stories at the top of the results page: one on the shooting at Purdue U and another about Perdue Farms Inc. closing a chicken plant in Pennsylvania, resulting in the loss of 650 jobs.
What the hell does New Jersey have to do with Purdue? It is found in RED STATE Indiana. God sometimes .
I am not sure if it was when I was there (1967-1971). There were no firearms allowed in dorm rooms or on campus, but there were target rifles available for rent in the firing range on the west-center side of the campus. I also had some cherry-bombs with a wrist-rocket slingshot. Mad a lot of noise at 3:00am on a weekend. BTW, that was illegal to have, too.
I took many a class in the electrical building. It was on old (even when I was there), square brick building on the east-center side of campus.
I know, I know. I’ve been raked over the coals (oops, can’t say that word) a bunch already and attribute it to lack of coffee. Hey. Everybody’s got an excuse. But ask me where Tavalua is. LOL!
