Speaking to New Yorker editor David Remnick, Obama said he still viewed pot smoking negatively but that on the whole, the drug wasnt the social ill that its been viewed as in the past.
As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I dont think it is more dangerous than alcohol, Obama told the weekly magazine.
The president said pot was actually less dangerous than alcohol in terms of its impact on the individual consumer.

Hey look what it did to that morons brain function.
Uh, (excessive) alcohol consumption, dope smoking, and tobacco smoking are ALL social ills. I respect the right of people to largely do what they please so long as they don’t harm me and mine, but let’s not kid ourselves. None of the above are good for you. Alcohol is the only one that has potentially good side effects when consumed in small quantities, but people have a propensity to abuse it, too.
Would you be a passenger on a plane whose pilot is high on drugs?
Marijuana might be no more dangerous than alcohol, but it is not any less dangerous either.
Both impair judgment, and can lead to illogical thought patterns, as well as dissipate resources better utilized elsewhere. Their true cost lies not in the acquisition, but in the collateral damage from the effects of the slowed reaction times and misperception of the immediate circumstances. Both drugs feed into paranoia and clumsy uncoordinated actions, and slurred speech is only part of the problem.
Alcoholism and marijuana dependence are both preventable diseases.
And the treatment is identical in both instances - complete abstinence. There is never a surefire cure, short of that lifetime commitment.
I think he’s talking about pole smoking.
” I respect the right of people to largely do what they please so long as they dont harm me and mine, “
THAT is the key — the problem is that those people endanger others because they work, drive, etc., etc., in their impaired condition, putting innocent people at risk.
This is where the far left and the libertarians sit down and smoke in unison. Great groups, those two.
The jackass clown keeps degrading the nation.
I doubt it.
I guess now we know that Obama gets drunk just to look at Michelle, can’t say I blame him, if I had to look at Michelle Id want to get wasted too
Obama always gets poll numbers out of his ass, just like when he says the majority of Americans support Obamacare, its actually 2 people
And it's a problem even with draconian laws that snare the innocent and reduce the freedoms of all.

Exactly! Finally someone gets to the real essence of the matter, to the principle. Do our bodies belong to us or to the government?
Alcohol is legal. Would you get on a plane piloted by a drunk?
That’s the thing. If you’re going to use that argument, you must say that all drugs, including antibiotics and all prescriptions, must be legal to take on demand as much as you want.
So get on the bandwagon to legalize meth and the rest, otherwise you’re picking and choosing just like Hussein here is doing or else you will truly be a hypocrite.
> Pot alters something in peoples heads. They are different after they start smoking. If youve known people who started to smoke, they are definitely different people afterwards. And the change is not for the better. They seem to lose their moral compass. They have an âI do not give a darn about thingsâ attitude,<
Get the same outcome with legal Prozac.
Obama, nothing could be more dangerous to your health than your backroom activities with Reggie Love!
That is more appropriately a police power of the States.
The federal government needs to go back into it's Constitutional box.

I know. True or not, certainly not something you say as POTUS.
That would be in his opinion which he may keep to his-self. Not interested. And how come all these libs know so much about teabagging? Hmmmmmm! I guess it’s like bobbing for nuts for them?
