A police officer shot dead his wife, two children and mother-in-law before turning the gun on himself, authorities said today.
The bodies of Joshua Boren, 34, Kelly Boren, 32, Joshua Boren, 7, five-year-old Haley Boren and Marie King, 55, were discovered in a gruesome scene at their home in Spanish Fork, Utah on Thursday.
Police said the five were found dead about 11pm when co-workers became concerned that Boren didn't show up for his night shift as a patrol officer at the Lindon Police Department.

You know i post a bunch of Police abuse stories. Because Police abuse and misconduct is The People’s business. I would not classify this story that way. Your attempt to classify the concerns of small government conservatives as “cop haters” makes you fall into the very sort of error you are accusing others of.
There are at least 7 negative cop stories posted today. So far.
When cops are not busy laying waste to their family, they are shooting the family dog, shooting children, shooting mini-vans full of kids, analy probing drivers in New Mexico, shooting more dogs, conducting no-knock raids and more. So much more.
Cops are scum.
I don’t buy into all this hatred. But I’m in the minority here.

I dont hate cops. I do detest any govt official who abuses their power. Does that make me a cop hater?

Just pointing out the facts. And anyone who spends any time here sees the preponderance of negative cop threads and the majority of “cops are scum” remarks.
Sign them in and sign them out at the station...really don't need to take them home.

I think there are some who might hate cops, but by and large, the majority are against ANY government official--which police officers are--who abuse their authority.

Yeah, I’d like to think that was what she meant. But it still strikes me as strange phrasing. “Who says they get to grow up (sad face)”?
Wouldn’t most people say: I wish they wouldn’t grow up, or too bad they have to grow up, or if it was up to me they’d never grow up?
