Lee beats out Rush Limbaugh on the magazine's list of the 10 celebrities with influence, thanks to his role as co-creator of the Marvel Universe.

That, and “So you want to be a Superhero” show.
Dr. Oz is a real person?
Meh. I’m just happy that a bunch of Holly-Libs ranked Rush as high as they did.
Stan wouldn’t have been that “creative” without artists like Kirby, Ayers, Ditko, etc... He’d basically call them up with a basic idea for a plot and then they’d turn in the art, which he’d then dialogue the pages based on their notes.
His brother, Larry Lieber is the more competent writer, IMHO.
I’m surprised that Stan Lee is on a 2014 list, considering that most of his achievements were done before I grew up.
For what it’s worth, I almost invested in Marvel when it was headed towards penny stock status. I figured the licensing would be a valuable asset but if they went bankrupt I as a investor might get screwed.
Today’s “success” is from Disney’s ownership. Another monopoly that should not exist.
Same with Schrödinger's cat, which I've seen many references to on F.R.
So Rush is in Forbes top 10 most influential people and this idiot paper tries to sping the story that someone who didn’t deserve it, edged Rush out by one place. This is totally leftist delusional tripe.
Honest headline, based on facts:
Rush Limbaugh on Forbes Top 10 Most Influential Celebrities
Hah! Don’t watch any of their tv shows, am not a big fan of their movies, and only listen to Rush if I am in the car at that time.
They all mean absolutely nothing to me. Not up on pop culture I guess.
They gambled everything, literaly, on films. It worked and then they sold out to Disney. Crazy
Oh I remember Stan Lee from my youth but BBT made comic books mainstream again.
And yes Stan Lee was on the show along with many famous faces in science.
sounds like you need a refresher course on memes and pyschology in mass media
My daughter goes to mecha cons, comic cons and whatever cons and Stan Lee is always a big hit there.
Ok, I have know idea what you are talking about.
You made claims about the show and have zero idea what it is about because you have never seen it.
I do not know if you have hung out with scientists and engineers at the level of the ones on the show, I can tell you it is pretty close to reality.
Anyhow, thanks again.
LOL - that show has some of the funniest lines on TV... I have a grand kid that loves to come over and force me to watch it with her... Thanks for sharing Calvin.
Don't be so sure. The writers definitely blur the lines with the characters of Raj and Amy. And of course, the actor who plays Sheldon is homosexual in real life.
It’s so cool freepers aren’t afraid of ‘not knowing everything’. Nice to feel at home Resolute... thanks for sharing.
shall we tell him to go away then?
