For what it’s worth, I almost invested in Marvel when it was headed towards penny stock status. I figured the licensing would be a valuable asset but if they went bankrupt I as a investor might get screwed.

Today’s “success” is from Disney’s ownership. Another monopoly that should not exist.

They gambled everything, literaly, on films. It worked and then they sold out to Disney. Crazy

Actually, Marvel’s stock had rebounded tremendously before Disney bought them. I was fortunate enough to invest in them before the big climb.

As for Stan Lee, I had the opportunity to interview him some years ago, and he impressed me as the best multi-tasker I’d ever seen. While answering my questions, he was also checking phone messages, sorting things on his desk, etc., but never in a way that made me feel like he was disinterested. He never missed a beat.
