Scandals? What scandals?
Despite facing a pair of controversies worthy of having the word "gate" attached to them, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie remains one of the odds-on favorites to win the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
According to Oddschecker.com, a British website that tracks online bookmakers, Christie and Florida Sen. Marco Rubio are both 5-to-1 favorites to win the GOP nomination, according to one bookmaker. Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul (9 to 1) and Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan (12 to 1) are less favored, while Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal (33 to 1) is a popular long shot.

Do these people ever travel outside of the DC Beltway?
Rand Paul will win it all.
Poker maybe
That is the understatement of the year. Again, the problem is, the media will protect her, plus, we have a different kind of voter now. I hate it so much, but we need to get used to saying president Clinton again. It sure will suck, to see that Bill will be the first man. Yuk.
Problem will be the same as last election,The republican establishment wants fatso, there will be at least a dozen conservatives running that will divide the vote, fatso wins the primary,The fat bitch from Arkansa wins the election, conservatives are screwed
The Left will rehab Christie’s image enough to help him get the nomination, aided by the GOPe, so Hillary will have the weakest opponent to run against. “Anything to win” is the Democrats’ one and only principle.
mega Dittos ;)
However, we’ve seen it played out before. 4 or 5 conservative guys, 1 GOPe guy in the primary.
We know who wins at that point.
We need to have a Tea Party Primary ahead of the GOP primary. So it’s 1 GOPe idiot and 1 tea party constitutionalist on the stage come GOP primary time.
Or we need to tell the GOPe to piss off and start a second party. I am not sure we can get any traction in the uniparty any longer.
IF Obama permits an election in 2016.
BIG if.
That's a profound question.
I think the answer is that, we will only rid ourselves of that destructive ideology, when it finally brings the system crashing to the ground. That's what it took for the former USSR. It's what it's going to take here.
The Republicans always select and groom RINO-E candidates for Presidential contests.
Heck, they had McCrazy and Romney but made a deal with Romney to let McCrazy lose the first election and then he could lose the next election.
They groomed McCrazy 4 years before the election and Romney 8 years before the election.
Now they are grooming another faux conservative for the office 4 years out.
What losers!
Want to bet?
“Demodummie odds makers I would surmise. They want Christie on the list so they can beat him as well. When/if the Repubs ever get their act together a pick a :winner” for their candidate, perhaps this Christie hype will all be for naught.
Sadly, I have to agree, and I was afraid someone would say exactly what you just said. I am afraid the whole thing must come crashing down as well. One thing that surprised me about the Soviet Union, was that I expected millions of victims to settle scores and kill many communists, who had oppressed them. I don't think it really happened that way, but we have a different kind of population. A collapse might bring on a blood bath of Biblical proportions. We shall see.
He sucks!
I thought this clown got lap band surgery??? has he found a way to eat from the other end? Like Alice told Ralph...’you’re the biggest thing on Television’.
Christie has the perfect temperment and credentials to be a Republican politician from the east coast/new england area. Let’s face it folks, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and Tom Colburn would not have a snowballs chance in hell of being elected in New Jersey. Christie makes a good Governor of New Jersey. Perhaps someday he can be a Senator from New Jersey. He agrees with us on issues probably 80% of the time. That’s better than having a socialist bedwetter who agrees with us on issues about 5% of the time. Christie has no chance of being the Republican President or Vice President nominee.
What you said.
like my name here, Cruz/West 2016 sounds just fine !!!
If Christie is our nominee then Hillary wins. Do you understand?
Lets not be disrespectful of the former first lady here. She is not a single pound heavier than Crispie.
