SOUP FOR THE TROOPS
WELCOME TO THE
(where our troops, allies and their families can refresh themselves)
Good morning, Everyone.
Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families.
Thank you, Ma, for preparing the Canteen
for today's activities
Hmmm, been wondering...
with regards to first photo...
in order to snap night shots like that...
do they have tiny night goggles for the camera?
I crack me up.
Making Z Zoup
A splash of this...a sprinkle of that...
Kilts are not native to Scotland.
They originated in France.
(guess we'll need to verify this with our Scot brothers/sisters)
A cluster or bunch of bananas is called a hand.
Individual bananas are called fingers.
The paddlefish, a living fossil,
has existed virtually unchanged in the
Mississippi River for 230 million years,
although it now weighs no more than
one-third of its ancient weight.
The only other part of the world
in which the paddlefish
is found is China.
Helen of Troy was queen of Sparta.
An adult female ladybug will eat
about 300 medium-size aphids before it lays eggs.
About three to ten aphids are eaten
for each egg the beetle lays.
More than 5,000 aphids may be eaten
by a single adult in its lifetime.
The FR Canteen is ALWAYS
Come in, sit down.
Grab a cup of joe, or tasty tea.
Mingle a bit, chat with the troops
or family member.
There's always plenty of conversation, silliness,
and plain old BS in the FR Canteen.
REMEMBER THEM ~ DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM
FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.
