Nadya Suleman, who gained fame as “Octomom” after giving birth to eight babies, has been charged with welfare fraud after failing to report $30,000 in earnings while she collected public assistance, authorities said Monday.
Suleman, whose real name is Natalie Denise Suleman, was ordered to appear in court on Friday, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said in a statement. She was not immediately taken into custody.
Suleman was charged Jan. 6 with one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application. If convicted, she could face up to five years and eight months in jail. …

I don’t usually argue FOR the State to intervene and remove children from their home; but this octo-bitch makes a pretty compelling argument.

When one guy involved in a major tax scam was bragging about it openly, a co-worker attempted to turn him in by contacting the IRS.
The IRS wanted to know more about the whistle blower then the perpetrator of this scheme. After turning over his social, full name, address, and home phone, the IRS started asking about his personal finances.
In the end NOTHING got done about it and this guy schemed the American tax payer out of over $20,000. He claims to perpetrate this fraud on the American people every year.
Why does the Fed go after some people and not others? Some folks seem to get away with abusing our entitlement and welfare systems their entire lives and I've never known anyone to get caught...at least not personally anyway.
Ten months? I thought everyone knew she was doing this years ago!
So now she goes to prison where costs even more to take care of her. Bring back dungeons.

Isn’t lovely how Americans like you and I can pay for a Muzzy doing jihad such as her? Taking money in the form of welfare, benefits, tax credits, etc. are another form of jihad. Having children is another way of doing jihad.
And we’ll be so proud to see our tax dollars at work in 15 to 20 years when those little jihadi children grow up and start committing acts of Muzzy terror.

I turned in my bum of an ex son-in-law once. Yes, the IRS wanted a lot of info about me and did nothing about his tax fraud - and it was in your face blatant.
He has also been scamming S.S.D.I. for about 25 years. After I went through that experience with the I.R.S., I figured, why bother.

Her big mistake was being a legal resident. If she was illegal they would never go after her.
So they bust a welfare mom with how many 14? kids over $30,000???
It would cost the state/county that much per month just to find the people to take care of her kids while she does the time.
Meanwhile welfare fraud by those with no kids goes on right under their noses unabated.
