On Monday, without comment (because he could not make a coherent one), Chief Justice John Roberts denied a request by the Association of American Physicians & Surgeons and the Alliance for Natural Health USA for a stay in the implementation of Obamacare. The groups had made their application last Friday, arguing that since the bill had been declared a tax by the Supreme Court (with Justice Roberts himself the deciding vote), and it had originated in the Senate (the Constitution says revenue bills may not originate), the law was therefore unconstitutional; and implementation of Obamacare should at least be stayed pending further examination.
While there are other minor issues attached to the application that were also not addressed, the truth of the matter is clear: John Roberts will never do anything to derail Obamacare, no matter what arguments against it are brought before him.
There is very good reason to believe that regardless of the media’s skillful smothering of the story, John Roberts is being blackmailed to make certain Obamacare never falls in a Supreme Court case. The basis of this charge surrounds the fact that a series of strange (and probably felonious) acts are attached to the adoption of his two children.

I doubt if anyone will live to see the day when obama blames Bush for his signature legislation. First of all, obama will NEVER admit it’s flawed beyond repair. Second, if he “blamed” Bush he would actually be giving Bush credit.
What I’m saying is they’re all corrupt. Obama, Pelosi and Reid gave us obamacare. Boner and McConnell has helped keep obamacare. It wouldn’t have happened at all without Roberts’ help. Bush gave us Roberts. If people hadn’t bitched like the devil we’d have Harriet Meyers.

I was with you until you mentioned how the children were dressed for the swearing in. They were dressed like PROPER children were 50 years ago....like the Kennedy children were always dressed. Would you rather have them dressed like crap like the Obama kids always are???
No little boy wants to wear saddle shoes or a seersucker suit. And the little girl was wearing Mary-Janes. They must have had all of this specially made. It’s one thing not to want children to look like slobs but to pretend they’re characters out of Brigadoon is another thing.
I may be wrong but whenever I’ve seen Obama’s children at formal events, they look OK. Look to DeBlasio’s children for modern freakdom.
ONLY at formal events do the Obama girls dress appropriately....otherwise they look like slobs...poor slobs.
Anyway, to your point, I never stated nor implied anything of the kind.
I allowed for the possibility that should the crime of blackmail be committed against Chief Justice Roberts, that the possibility that said blackmail might possibly be effective against him because of the possibility (dear G-d I hope it's not true) that he might have some, uh... gayness... in his past.
Not that I would necessarily know one way or the other, so maybe not. (See photo of young John Roberts sharing dinner, in a fabulous white cotton sweater, with two unknown young men. No chicks at the table. "WTF?")
Then again maybe it's (that is, how the hell did they get to him?) just the matter of his adopted kids from Ireland and him being seen, and photographed, getting out of a sedan in front of The Bank of Crete carrying a really nice briefcase.
The point is I wouldn't know one way or the other, but I'm inclined to believe that Justice Roberts has been flipped, I believe is the term.
Maybe it has to do with aforementioned kids adopted from Ireland and the aforementioned visit to The Bank of Crete, where someone got a candid photograph of The Chief Justice getting out of the car, which happened shortly after his ruling. You might not see it the same way, but that picture of young John Roberts with those two dudes at dinner is just... unusual. Maybe it's not either one of those things and it's something else that we don't even know about, or maybe it's all of the above.
I am aware that blackmail is a crime, and that if this were true Mr. Roberts would obviously be the victim of the crime. I don't know what the exact federal statue is against blackmailing a Chief Justice for political purposes, but I would bet on it being a "high crime" if you know what I'm saying.
I hope that clarifies my position for you. I'm not going to take the bait and explicitly clarify my opinion of whatshisname for you, though, JimRob would ban me for it and... "I'd have to allow for the possibility that I could get into some other unknown kind of trouble too."

The children were well dressed, they way children should be dressed for such events. Just because our president and his wife dress their children like slobs doesn't mean the rest of us have to use them as role models.

I’ve never seen a child wearing a seersucker suit, sorry. He looks like Georgie in “The Magnificent Ambersons.” And most of us know what happened to him, lol!
His parents dressed him like that, the kid is innocent, of course.
Seersucker is very preppy. my 22 yo son [who plays college ice hockey and is no fruit!] and my daughter’s 28 yo fiance, as well as my husband, all wear seersucker in the summer. we do live in northern VA suburbs of DC.
I don’t buy the blackmail story.
Obama and the Dems would drool over the prospect of putting a Liberal of their choice on the Court, and add a Liberal Chief Justice as well.
If they could blackmail Roberts at this level they would have already pulled the trigger on the info in order to get him off the Court.
