Exactly. That’s a coward and a cynical profiteer. A patriot, a man of character with balls, would resign RIGHT THEN, and publically explain why.
The DC madam had the goods on a bunch of them and wound up hanging by the neck in her moms garage just after signing a tell all book deal.
Gates didn’t let us know in a timely manner, and didn’t do so until he could turn a buck from the info. If he would have been honest about what he saw before the election, he could have done a service to the nation.
He gets no credit here.

Every conversation by a public official in a public office on public time is public information.
The people who should feel betrayed are those sent into harm’s way on a mission not supported by the CIC. If Gates had any integrity, he would have divulged this much sooner—especially prior to the 2012 elections.
Fleischer and the rest of the political class are despicable and deserve our scorn. It is always about them.

I guess not. My own personal estimate is that his earning power is $0. I wouldn't hire the guy to clean my bathrooms.
