You'd call this guy crazy if he weren't brilliant, concise and 100% right-on-the-money.
Watch the reaction of the monitor monkeys in the background. They appear to be quite stirred.
I like Dylan Ratigan.
Amazing. This man would qualify, in my book, as a Presidential candidate.
Unfortunately he wants an imperial presidency.
But this is from 2011. I guess all that ever happens is once in a whole someone loses it and cries the truth out in front of a few thousand people. And nothing changes. This is nearly 3 years ago.
I believe he might be a fiscal hawk but a little squishy on social issues. He’s a big figure on many money shows on cable news. I’ve not heard his explicit policy views except those relative to money.
Don’t quote me on all of this though, I could be wrong.
You voted for transformation. Give Dylan a listen.
The Times They Are a-Changin'
No, he seemed like a jackass to me.
He thinks anything who disagrees with him is bought and believes the president should just become imperial to solve the problem. Hogwash.
He also complains about something which is so vague as to be effectively meaningless (”They’s extracting America!”).
Yes, he is correct we are broke and nobody is facing it. However he claims that the conservatives are trying to “burn it all down” when they make any effort to try cuts.
Yep, he’s a jackass.
Then again it was MSNBC, so I should have known better than to even have wasted my time.
That Obama should ignore congress and work around it like Teddy Roosevelt did? No thanks.
He’s right.
We don’t have “Republicans” and “Democrats”.
We have The Ruling Class, and its necessary toadies The Parasite Class.
With rare exceptions politicians, bureaucrats, political operatives, pundits and political financiers, REGARDLESS of their supposed “party” are dedicated utterly to the expansion of the State to control of all aspects of society. The people who run our government are fundamentally totalitarian. They of the same nature as Hitler, Stalin, and Mao.
A Presidential candidate based on that alone?
I agree with a good portion of what he says, but vehemently disagree with some key points. The guy is a leftist that has discovered the left is destroying our future...and good on him for that. He mischaracterizes the right as wanting to ‘burn the house down’ when no one is offering anything like that at all. He’d probably call the Ryan budgets of past years as burning the house down when it was thoughtful and incremental changes.
He also pretends like these problems were born in the past 20 years, which is mostly an indictment of Bush/Obama years. These problems were born 100 years ago and set in stone in the 60s. It is a century of mismanagement.
I do like his general indictment of both sides, because the right hasn’t got the stones to actually deal with these problems in real terms. They made some nice overtures for two years after 2010 but never took the fight to Reid or Obama.
I also disagree completely that Obama has to come out and condemn congress as the problem. Obama, the bloated executive branch, and all the entrenched bureaucrats (which has expanded in significant ways in the past 5 years) are every bit as entrenched in not solving the problems as congress is...possibly even moreso in that the bureaucracy are not accountable at all to voters.
I like his anger and like that he came to this realization, but he’s maybe only 40% on target with his accusations.
He’s wrong. We are in this mess because of OBAMA.
He claims the Republicans “want to burn it to the ground”. What does he mean???...our squishy GOP stand for burning it rather than financing it on borrowed money??? If only it were true.
Street theater for the masses. All forgotten by next break “for station identification and a word from our sponsors.”
He obviously doesn't recognize what Obama will do when he refuses to work with Congress according to the Constitution.
The guy is out of whack. Yeah sure he makes a good rant but he has no solutions except someone should make speeches.
He said the “republicans want to burn it down”. Ummm...No. Why does he say this? In short because he is a New Yorker of which most are small brained neanderthal jawed loud rude big mouths.
GOPe Republicans do not want to “burn the place down” nor do Tea Party republicans. GOPe republicans want to keep the orgy going with their snouts looking for an opening at the trough. Tea Party republicans want to defund mistakes and produce intelligent reform based on Constitutional principles of limited federal government.
Dylan pulled a Jerry Springer and he’s pulling in a lot of youtube hits with his antics. Don’t feed the animals please.
WOW!
Is anybody out there listening?!!
I saw this earlier in 2013. Talk about a man on fire.
