I have chosen a provocative title for this article because nearing his fourth decade in prison for a crime all others similarly charged see freedom within four years, Jonathan Pollard is no more likely to be freed under Barak Obama than under George W. Bush before him or Bill Clinton before him. From today it seems no exaggeration that, barring a miracle, a young and idealistic American Jew who chose to spy for Israel will be forced to pay the ultimate price for his decision.
Jonathan Pollard had serious medical conditions at the time of his arrest in his twenties. He remains seriously ill in his fifties. And, as I suggested above, barring Divine Intervention or Israel agreeing to some extreme presidential demands bordering on extortion, Jonathan Pollard will die in prison.

Pollard, assuming his guilt, deserved to go to jail. The only issue then is why we keep him there so much longer than others who did same thing. But since Obama has spied on Bibi so much now that Bibi can’t even discuss affairs of state with his staff in his office in Jerusalem ( except in a special secured secret shielded room), same with chancellor Merkel in Berlin whose phone he bugged, and other allies of USA. Obami spies on our allies while he gives arms and money to almost any sworn enemy of America ( so long as it is a islamoNazi type terror gang). By their fruits you shall know . Weinberger doubled crossed him, however, and the government withheld important facts that spoke well for his defense. Pollard will almost certainly be shown to have been a hero in the light of history:

Pollard is supported by people like James Woolsey, who is an evil, anti-American man. Woolsey protected the most terrible spies against the U.S., like Aldrich Ames and Robert Hanssen
You have attacked the admirable James Woolsey and accused him in a terrible way. The reality is that Woolsey’s career is exemplary and one of a patriot. Does Woolsey’s strong support of Israel and of a strong military irk you, Nickcarraway? Is that what is really bothering you as you pursue the neck of Jonathan Pollard?
