A self-help book based on Old Testament principles of the Bible written by a 43-year-old married Italian journalist and mother of four advising women to be submissive to their husbands in marriage is now causing an international uproar from feminists around the world.
The book, Cásate y sé sumisa, translated Get Married and Be Submissive, has even drawn the ire of a high ranking political figure in Spain in the form of that country's health minister Ana Mato, who according to The Telegraph, said: "I think it is inappropriate and disrespectful to women."
According to the report, from the very first pages, author Costanza Miriano declares to women: "we are not equal to men and to not recognize this is a guaranteed source of suffering."

If you want somebody to wait on you, go to a restaurant or hire a maid!
Submissive (in the biblical sense) simply refers to the wife supporting her husband and accepting him as head of the household and provider. In modern context, it could mean that when the husband's job takes him from say Atlanta to Cincinnati, well she follows him to Cincinnati. It means that she will take your surname and and defer to you on the major decisions (of which you should allow her input and allow her input to play a part in your decision).
With that comes responsibility for the husband. He must assume the role of provider and accept responsibility when the decision is not the right one (and make it right). Above all, he must honor his wife and never do anything to dishonor his wife or his family. It is a two-way street.
Husbands, love your wives as yourself.
lol - funny, that.
No woman has a problem being submissive to a man who is submissive to Christ. It starts there - if a man loves God and cherishes his wife, no problem “making a sammich” or anything else. At least in theory....
The ultimate example of this two way street is the fact that its MEN who are supposed to go to war and die, and if some disaster occurs, women and children are saved first. That’s the responsibility of men. I’m not sure where these feminists get off with their whining and cries for censorship.
How does one think we end up with pajama boy? When you strip away male roles, it strips away male responsibilities. And I guarantee when some disaster strikes, the feminists will be the first to cry when the men bail and leave them stranded with the children. Yeah, lets imagine what pajama boy would have done aboard the Titanic.

And its not like husbands never make sandwiches for their wives too. That happens.
Is there ever a time when feminists aren’t outraged about something. Being outraged is how they make a living.
Women are to be submissive to their husbands, and husbands are to love their wives like Christ, i.e., willing to die for them. That last part is always left out.
“But as the church is subject to Christ, so also the wives ought to be to their husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her,”
Or he'd just bring his own "lifeboat" and leave everybody else to fend for themselves.
I am submissive to my husband. That is not the submission that the mohammedans talk about. My husband and I both consider me equal to him, but he is the head of the household, so I honor him as such and respect his authority. He gives me an equal measure of respect and honor in my role in the marriage.
Life did seem to be better when moms stayed home and took care of children and the house.

At the Mass we were at this year, it was left out.

It was included at our Mass.
I wait on my husband frequently, and I consider it an honor to do so.
Hahahaha, post of the day.
The protective social welfare state with its trappings of radicalist academia is doomed as a societal model, just like Stalinism was. What comes after that?
My prediction is a cutthroat society where manual labor is valued once again, and men reclaim their former roles, getting a much larger say over their offspring in the process. It won’t be dystopic, but sweat and blood will fuel the engines again instead of magic and cobwebs. A better future for men, women, and children. No more onesies or hot coco. Pajama boy will need to pick up a hammer and a shovel.
Well, I’m a Jew, as Jesus was. We are a Matriarchal people.
That’s one fine post, and well said! Thank you for that, sir.
