In the opening hour of his inaugural East Coast drive-time show, Michael Savage signaled he has no intention of abandoning his passion for uncovering the full story behind the deaths of 22 members of Navy SEAL Team 6 in Afghanistan shortly after it was leaked that their unit killed Osama bin Laden.
The subject came up for a second time in the show when a regular listener said she liked the fact that he covered subjects no one else on talk-radio seemed to be talking about.
“They were killed. They were assassinated. They were executed. Or it was done because there’s a moron working inside the Defense Department who did it to them,” Savage said.
“Either way, somebody should go to prison for this.”
Savage called the August 2011 Taliban shootdown of the CH-47D Chinook helicopter that killed all 38 passengers “one of the greatest military scandals in American history.”
“How could we lose more men in one mission than in the entire history of the Navy SEALS, and no one has been held accountable for it?” he asked.
Savage had further questions:
“Who put them in an old slow-flying helicopter in a combat zone?”
“Why didn’t they break them up into fast-strike helicopters?”
“Who made this decision in the Defense Department?
“Who made it in the Obama administration?”
“These are questions, man, and I want them answered, and I want a hearing; and you want to hear equality, you want to hear fairness? How about fairness to the families whose hearts are broken by somebody in the Obama administration who killed those Navy SEALs? Would that be equality?”

I just hope all is well with his family. I recently heard him say his kids are getting older and wanted more time with them. He has his priorities right.
As far as Michael Savage in that slot, I am not sure, if he has a meltdown and says something stupid we all loose. On the Seals, he is partially right, how and why they were on one ole' bird and not on 3 or 4 Ospreys and flying a much different mission profile is beyond me, these brave men never would have allowed that, they are way smarter...

The Chinook is faster than the Black Hawk (H-60) and the Apache (AH-64).
'Tis true. Besides, ALL helicopters are slow on final to touchdown, and most vulnerable to ground fire.

That’s exactly what I think. And certain world leaders like Putin know it, too - and can’t believe Obama was such a feckless idiot as to take out a body double useful to both sides for a five-day boost in his poll numbers.
We are now “blessed” with more hours of the Schmidt Show... 3 hours was ENOUGH!
And with Seal Team 6 being taken out he got his Muslim blood debt paid.
Like most, Hannity is a ratings hound, he’ll stay away from anything conspiratorial.
While I’m not a big follower of WND, I’m with Savage on this. Something stinks...
During the holidays, we re-watched “Zero Dark Thirty” again and some of the family had NO idea that most of the SEALs portrayed in the movie are dead.
Congress has let us and the military down big time on this and I include my fantastic, Conservative Congressman, Randy Forbes, from the 4th District - VA (big military presence) in this...
If there is a “Savage ping list”, may I be put on it, please?

The reason it would be difficult (from outside the gubmint) to nail down who ratted them out and connived in their assassinations is that Zero has riddled our military and intel with jihadists. Thanks Perseverando.

who knows who was in the house, point is, we were all lied to for political gain. This isn’t the first time nor the last.
