The delays, deceit and debacles that marked Obamacares rollout in 2013 show no signs of slowing in the new year.
People all across the country have witnessed what a disaster this program has been from its earliest stages, ranging from the $600 million website debacle to the sad fact that President Barack Obama flat-out deceived the American people when he promised that those who like their coverage could keep it. To stem the bleeding, the administration is resorting to arbitrary delays for some Obamacare mandates, which only inject more confusion into the marketplace and with consumers.

Perry would have made a GREAT president, it’s a shame he was the worst debater in history.
Perry is an idiot. This wasn’t a failure. This is exactly what Obama wanted. Now he gets the single payer plan he always wanted. Perry is a sucker. And Republicans aren’t even trying to stop it.
Falling for Obama hook, line, and sinker makes him a great president?
1a) "Immigration Reform is solely aimed at taking your job away from you and giving it to a criminal that entered this country illegally."
1b) "This is just like Obamacare -- you remember: the government took away your healthcare benefits and stuck you with a huge bill? Will you let him take your job too???"
Telling me and the rest of the base during the primaries that we "have no heart" did Perry in, not sub-par debating skills.
Public relations experts and bureaucratic shuffles are not going to cover it up. They are going to reap the whirlwind on this one.
TX is moving so liberal that they could, but I don’t think they will, elect the liberal Wendy Davis governor in November. She has the backing of millions of Texans, but I don’t know how many millions?
Fair warning - anything posted here on FR about Perry is liable to bring out the haters.
Just saying..... and yes, he is one of the worst candidates on a stage I have ever seen. I would love for someone from Texas to bring a big dose of Texas conservatism to D.C. instead of compassionate conservatism. Too bad that Perry was not that guy, but I would give him another chance.
I guess you would prefer someone to lie to you until they get the nomination then suddenly run to the middle.
I never expect to agree with someone 100% but I do expect them to be honest so I know what I am getting.
I agree. He would have been a good President. Sadly he entered the race fresh off back surgery and was taking pain meds. I believe that is what hampered his debate performance. If you listen to him in an interview or giving a speech he is terrific.
Good luck with that political fantasy.
Besides Ted Cruz, what nationally known Republican congressmen are doing ANYTHING to stop ObamaCare?
None of them, and there is no plan to stop it.
The GOP strategy is pitiful:
ObamaCare will somehow self-destruct, then, for some unknown reason, voters will elect Republicans.
It won't self-destruct, and Socialist voters will not vote for semi-Socialist Republicans.
As usual too many others are cheering the plays and efforts of what happened in the 2nd quarter of the game while the ACTUAL GAME is already in the 4th quarter.
Perry’s liberal record, and his history of being pro-ILLEGAL alien was his downfall. His poor debating performance was just a reflection of how incapable he was/is at defending it.
WHAT STRATEGY???
Rick Perry, father of “heartless” and jackboot forced Gardisil.
Don’t sign up for it.
I have listened. And he was/is unbelievably incompetent. This was 2010, btw... before he had the surgery.
