The former president of Poland and leader of the Solidarity movement is not enamored with President Obama and his leadership.
The Hill:
Former Polish President Lech Walesa says America no longer leads the world "in terms of politics and morality."
Walesa, in an interview with CNN's Jake Tapper, spoke negatively about President Obama's leadership skills.
"When he was elected there was great hope in the world. We were hoping that Obama would reclaim moral leadership for America, but that failed. America does not lead the world in the area of morality," Walesa said.
Walesa, who is promoting a new biopic on his life, met with GOP presidentical candidate Mitt Romney during the 2012 campaign.
A Nobel prize winner, Walesa served as president of Poland in the 1990s, and led the Solidarity movement that helped end the Soviet Union's grip on Eastern Europe.
He acknowledged the United States military remains the world's top power, but argued the U.S. economy is getting weaker.
"America did not regain its leadership status," he said, adding that the world is lucky there were no major conflicts because otherwise it would be helpless.
It's a dangerous situation in the long run, Walesa said. "We are awaiting a president who will understand that."

Here is a man who literally risked his life to stand up for the Polish workers against the communist government. He knows about moral leadership. It was his moral leadership that helped bring down the evil empire.
He is right about America. Our once great country has become weak, cowardly and immoral.
The American people elected the Obamination. Sorry dude, but in a country with an elected Government, the people of a nation deserve to be judged on the basis of who is running their country when they elect a turkey, especially when they voted for him TWICE...
Are we 100 percent sure that “the American people” got Obama into power? I’m not even so sure about the Democratic Party itself quite often.
I’m not taking any criticism from someone who is actually on Obama’s side ideologically.

I am a patriot but I am honest and he is RIGHT.
Something very important has happened to the USA in the past five years.
In fact it started earlier than that.
No kidding. I find myself repeating myself, but I can’t help it. America has become an absolute sewer of depravity. I think this past year, between the fag-marriage push, Miley Cyrus twerking, and the near-complete corruption of our government, a point of no return was finally crossed.
America has chosen to embrace evil. In a way, it’s starting to make the whole question of politics, political parties, and even voting seeming increasingly moot and pointless. Especially considering there seems to no longer be a republic even worth preserving.
