Claiming his place as the 109th mayor of New York City, Bill de Blasio delivered an inaugural address on Wednesday that focused on the issue of inequality, promising that the attention he gave to the subject when he was running for office was not merely campaign rhetoric.
Outside City Hall, in front of an audience that included members of his family, luminaries like Bill and Hillary Rodham Clinton and hundreds of ordinary New Yorkers, Mayor de Blasio spoke of the city’s history of embracing liberal causes, and he laid out a mayoralty that emphasized social and economic justice.
“We are called to put an end to economic and social inequalities that threaten to unravel the city we love,” he said. “And so today, we commit to a new progressive direction in New York. And that same progressive impulse has written our city’s history. It’s in our DNA.”

INCREASE TAXES ON THOSE NEW YORK CITY RESIDENTS EARNING $500,000 OR MORE TO PAY FOR UNIVERSAL PRE-K ( Which he believes will help children grow up to be more competitive).
HE THINKS THEY CAN AFFORD IT AS IT WILL SIMPLY BE THE COST OF A STARBUCKS COFFEE EVERYDAY.

New York City's new Mayor is already planning a first round of "job cuts" that may enrage some and please others. One of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s first orders of business is "to get rid of horse carriages" because the practice is inhumane.

New York city would be requiring a large “tax” for the
privilage of moving out.

He also thanked David Dinkins for reducing crime which is like thanking Hitler for reducing anti-semitism. And if you’ll notice, he had hardcore commie Harry Belafonte front and center at that faux inauguration. I say faux because there is no way in hell this guy is going to protect and defend the constitution.
Red States should aggressively court NYC companies to get them to relocate. All people with resources and or not in favored classes should get out of NYC ASAP. Then a wall should be built around the city with guard posts - I think Hollywood already made that one.
