My totallly anecdotal guess would say “yes” (in most cases), but just because same-sex attraction disorder may be a defect in brain “wiring”, amongst other things, doesn’t mean it’s normal, anymore than anyone with cystic fibrosis or color blindness is normal.

It may have to do with each unborn child’s exposures to ? Hormones or something, maybe even plastics, and even twins may have different exposures. Thus not purely genetic but epigenetic.

Preference is right, do people choose to be attracted to children? In either case a choice is made to act on a preference.

I think with males the cause of most homosexual tendencies result from childhood molestation by male perverts. It’s tough to say what kind of role choice plays after that.

Well yea its a birth defect..there effective sterile..I mean explain gay from a evolution Darwin perspective. .are they a new form of human ..a kind of worker bee ?.... The thing is transgendered types say they it is a birth defect but say that they were born the wrong gender....that the crazy thing..in the whole gay, lesbian, trans-gender thing..the mind and body are not in sync ..but they insist what ever there mind wants is always correct vs the body and never the other way

No one would choose to be a drug addict either if they fully understood the consequences of their choices. They leave that little caveat out which is part and parcel of every bad choice. Both are choices.
