I do not own the rights to this video, the guys voice is not mine. This happened a block from me the cop is now suspended and the woman suffered a broken nose and some other facial injuries

I wish I had not seen the woman being abused like that. I also wish I had not seen Hot Tabasco’s remarks about it.
Now why don't I believe you, hmmm?
We're not talking about wanton violence Darius, we're witnessing a typical out of control drunk who is resisting arrest........Drunks, by definition, have lost all control of their rational actions and are capable of anything in that drunken state. We witnessed that by her very actions.
If she had complied to the responding officer's requests when she was pulled over, do you think it would have escalated to the degree it did? Of course not!
I've been pulled over by the cops several times in my past while driving drunk and was fortunately never ticketed. And I have to believe that it was the passive demeanor I displayed as well as the respect I gave to the officers that allowed them to let me go.........
This woman was way past the level of rational thinking and her defiant actions resulted in the treatment she may or may not have deserved.............
As I have stated before, she gets no sympathy from me..........
I know. That whole post you mentioned was a disaster. Oh well.

Resist arrest as a drunk and you get what you deserve............GET IT?
LOL,
I’ve posted some serious scrambled eggs in my time too.
I knew a decent cop who was a hunting buddy and his corrupt bros on the force schemed to get rid of him...they succeeded but earned their dept. a lawsuit in the teeth in return, which the taxpayers paid, and the bad cops kept their jobs. Same old story.
There are good cops but it’s like finding an honest politician...
And I wish I had not seen this drunk trying to resist her arrest..............
Sir, you get my sympathy for what happened to your brother. You also earn my respect for serving in this mans army. You should however learn to have empathy for others.
and that one was not my worst effort either... LOL damn it all.
Gee, let me see if I can channel your skills in inductive reasoning:
You think it is OK for people to drive drunk. Maybe you agree with strangling puppies also...
I don't know, why don't you tell me?
If this 70 year old woman dies of blunt force trauma to the face, well heck, she deserved it.
Once cuffed, the cops could have and should have put her in the back of the patrol car. Once she hit the ground - whether she fell or was slammed - they, as public servants, should have brought her back to her feet and then put her in the patrol car. Yes, she was drunk and deserved to be arrested, but the cops left an older woman hurt and bleeding on the ground when that portion of the situation had nothing to do with her drunken driving. They were clearly in the wrong to stand over her after she took a header into the pavement without rendering some kind of assistance.
She was no longer behind the wheel, she was handcuffed, she’s elderly (same age as my mom) and the back door of the cop car was right there. Two healthy full grown men could have easily prevented her fall and/or avoided it altogether by doing their job properly.
Bottom line: She was wrong for drunk driving, then the cops were wrong for slamming her to the ground and/or being callous about the injuries to the head of an elderly woman. There are no heroes to this story.
so, what was her BAC? Is it posted anywhere? Was it alcohol or was the senior citizen perhaps impaired due to some other issue? Was it necessary to take the 70 year old and drive her to the pavement? That you see no problem with it, that is the disturbing issue.
On YouTube also...low quality video so it’s easier to see if enlarged.
She gets slammed face down to the pavement pretty hard at 1:07 . . .

To several posters above. . . Was she drunk? What was her blood alcohol content?
The cop did not have to slam the lady to the ground regardless of her mouth. She was no threat at this point. Over kill by the cop...no question about it.
Now, ask yourself, if you detained a man in front of your home for, lets say, smashing into the back of your auto. He’z obviously drunk. The guy tries to make a get away on foot, but you and your buddies stop him.
You then tie the guys hands behind his back and call the cops.
As the cops pull up, the guy squirms a bit. You believe he’z trying to escape so you grab the guy and launch his face into the ground, breaking his nose and cutting his face.....all as the cops approach.
Think you'd be arrested? Think the cops might charge you with an assault?
Chances are you'd be arrested for using excessive force with bodily injury or assault.
There was an incident here in Houston where several cops had a burglary suspect on the ground, hands cuffed to his back and several officers (caught on video)began pummeling this punk. Kicking him and punching him while cuffed and on the ground.
Little worse than a rogue cop.
A diabetic in ketosis will smell drunk and act befuddled and possibly belligerent.
Nothing that a face slam to the pavement and a night without medical attention in the drunk tank won’t cure, permanently.
