In fact, an important article published in tandem with the Regnerus study (by Loren Marks, Louisiana State University) analyzes the 59 previous studies cited in a 2005 policy brief on homosexual parents by the American Psychological Association (APA).[2] Marks debunks the APA's claim that "[n]ot a single study has found children of lesbian or gay parents to be disadvantaged in any significant respect relative to children of heterosexual parents." Marks also points out that only four of the 59 studies cited by the APA even met the APA's own standards by "provid[ing] evidence of statistical power." As Marks so carefully documents, "[N]ot one of the 59 studies referenced in the 2005 APA Brief compares a large, random, representative sample of lesbian or gay parents and their children with a large, random, representative sample of married parents and their children."

The APA an organization top heavy with homosexuals, that blackmailed itself into declaring homosexuality to be normal, appears to have been indulging in politically correct skewed studies to protect it's fallacious declarations. Kind of along the line of global warming science.

The only question I have about this study re sexual abuse is are these kids adopted or bio, and if adopted was it at birth or later.

Kids from the foster care system often have horrific histories and are sometime adopted by homeosexuals and lesbians.

These FACTS will be deemed illegal because they are “homophobic.”

Is this a new report, or the same one that came out a couple of years ago from UT? If I remember correctly, the liberals totally dismissed it, and chastised the author for being “unscientific”.

I remember reading where Rosie O’donnell’s son was asked what he really wanted and he said, “A father.”

“Are nearly 4 times as likely to have been “physically forced” to have sex against their will”

Yup. These fruity degenerates even rape their own adopted kids. Someone tell me that’s “normal”..

As to the question of whether you have "ever been physically forced" to have sex against your will (not necessarily in childhood), affirmative answers came from 8% of children of married biological parents, 31% of children of lesbian mothers (nearly 4 times as many), and 25% of the children of homosexual fathers (3 times as many). Again, when Regnerus breaks these figures out for females (who are more likely to be victims of sexual abuse in general), such abuse was reported by 14% of IBFs, but 3 times as many of the LMs (46%) and GFs (52%).

Is this study saying that a girl raised by either lesbians or gays has a 50-50 chance of being forced to have sex against her will as compared to 14% of those raised by an intact M/Female family?

That is stunning.

So tell me again how queer parents get to be parents? The notion that both natural parents are homosexual has to be a made-up non-starter. If the studied children are adopted that is going to create some anomalies at the very least. And remind me how the children come to know both of their parents are queer? There’s no way that would affect how the kids come out, would it? How much public money was spent coming up with this claptrap?

And there you have it, "fiscal conservatives."

I'm a Christian woman in my 40's who lived a lesbian lifestyle when I was in my 20's. I've noticed how the studies on homosexuality seem skewed to make their effects seem much better than they are. Child Abuse Rate At Zero Percent In Lesbian Households, New Report Finds
"In an article published today in the Archives of Sexual Behavior, the 17-year-old daughters and sons of lesbian mothers were asked about sexual abuse, sexual orientation, and sexual behavior. "The paper found that none of the 78 NLLFS adolescents reports having ever been physically or sexually abused by a parent or other caregiver. This contrasts with 26 percent of American adolescents who report parent or caregiver physical abuse and 8.3 percent who report sexual abuse." I read more about this study when it came out, and the key was that 17 year-olds (still living with their parents, of course), were given these questions. I also found a site at the time (2010) which I haven't been able to find again which had a lot on domestic violence in lesbian relationships, which quoted statistics showing it was more common, and also quoted a researcher as saying there is a taboo in the homosexual community against seeing lesbians as anything but more peaceful and compassionate than men. It seems like the dependent children of lesbians are forced to go along with this taboo. This next "study" especially got front page treatment when it came out, despite the fact that the only thing studied were trips men in gay lifestyles made to a health clinic in just the year before and the year after gay marriage was adopted there, which was 2003. The study came out in 2011. If the researchers had found an actual difference in what they looked at over many years, you can believe they would have published that. But all they actually were able to show was a difference in clinic visits between one year and the next, and yet the study was front-page news in 2011, declaring that gay marriage improves men's health. The study itself only says it may improve men's health. http://ajph.aphapublications.org/doi/abs/10.2105/AJPH.2011.300382 Same-sex marriage boosts gay men's health, study suggests (CBS) Legalized same-sex marriage may provide couples with more than just legal benefits. A new study suggests gay men who get married may be healthier than unmarried gay men. "For the study, published in the Dec. 15 issue of the American Journal of Public Health, researchers compared health records on 1,211 gay patients at a community health clinic in Massachusetts in the years before and after same-sex marriage was legalized in 2003." It's discouraging at times to see how things are going these days. However, I take comfort that Jesus is victor! Homosexuality is one of many sins that people in these especially rebellious times has embraced. As Christians we have to do our part to be salt and light, but God is in control and one day there will be an end to our sin nature and we'll live in a world without it. Praise the Lord!

It’s not about the truth to these deviants and their supporters, and probably never has been. But it’s good this study was done, and I hope it does make impact on those still reachable by reason. Those who needed a study to point this out to them though owe many people an apology for giving up common sense.
