Cracker Barrel said it pulled some Duck Dynasty merchandise from its stores over concerns it might offend guests, a move that infuriated thousands of customers and confused many others.
"We removed selected products which we were concerned might offend some of our guests while we evaluate the situation," Cracker Barrel said in a statement posted on its Facebook page.
The full statement read:
Cracker Barrels mission is Pleasing People. We operate within the ideals of fairness, mutual respect and equal treatment of all people. These ideals are the core of our corporate culture. We continue to offer Duck Commander products in our stores. We removed selected products which we were concerned might offend some of our guests while we evaluate the situation. We continually evaluate the products we offer and will continue to do so.
Cracker Barrel's statement led to confusion among some customers who wondered if the restaurant was removing Duck Dynasty products owned by A&E or products owned by the Robertson family's Duck Commander business.
Cracker Barrel did not return phone calls seeking clarification or comment.

Go to dinner at CB. Pick up a product and determine whether it is A&E or Robertson’s. If A&E say, “Oh, wait...” then leave. If there are none at all ask where the DD stuff is. If they say they don’t sell that stuff anymore, say, “Well just damn!,” and leave. Etc.
Those were the Days.
According to the report I read on DRUDGE. They pulled everything with Phil's face on it. That is ALL I need to know.
NO CB for this red neck.
“I just vote with my cash. Others should quietly do the same.”
Yes, no more dollars to CB from me. Since they are willing to pay a cost as the result of their anti-Christian bigotry, so be it.
Hopefully the cost will be comensurate with the offense to their substantual client base.
In particular, Sunday should be a weekly boycott day. “Hey, how come our stores are empty on Sunday? That’s when all those stupid Christians used to come in. Wonder what happened?
CB is open on Sundays?
My wife worked directly forthethe number 3 man at Cracker Barrel before we had so many children
he was openly homosexual and now is arguably Nashville’s richest homosexual he is now retired and to his credit was fairly quiet
there were many many new homosexuals employed and they were very clannish
my wife found it awkward even though it was a good place to work money wise and benefits wise
but also had a big push to hire more black management
one of whom relentlessly pursued my wife and any other white gal struck his fancy....many.... even when she was pregnant and showing and when she complained upper management was afraid to touch him....just another illustration
they are just scared they they were saying as a redneck company and all the liberal yankee lawyers were on their ass for a payday
the company was founded by a good man what a wonderful idea I knew how to pursue it sort of a Steve Jobs of restaurants in the south very very relentless but he got old lost control the company and make no mistake it is a very very liberal run into take even if we do like the food and the candles and the toys and the candy it’s a real shame damn liberals ruin about everything
I’m done with them there are other places to eatand as everyone who knows me realize is I am on the road 7 days a week all day like right now I’m on Interstate 40 between lebanon Tennessee and Franklin as usual checking on my businesses
Open for business on Sundays — usually can’t get in without a wait. Maybe that will change.
I guess Chik-fil-A fans needed a place to go on Sundays, now someone is going to have to create a new business for them.
there is a statement Cracker Barrels Facebook page as well my wife is livid she is part of the organizing push back
2%? I doubt its that high. Do you really think any gay people are going to Cracker Barrel?
My dad and his 4 siblings and assorted young-uns eat out at the CB in my hometown at least once a week. At least 10, sometimes 15 or 20 people counting spouses, kids, grandkids, etc.
No more.
That’s a big check to lose.
During my short time there, there was very loud, open, disgusting sodomite community around an area near Hillsboro Village. I lived way over on the "other" side of the river with what the Green Hills crowd called the "white trash". Maybe things have changed over the years but there were a lot of good, Christian-oriented mom and pop little restaurants with home cooking on Gallatin Road.
Anybody who is saying that this is in support of the Robertsons and against A&E hasn't read the asinine statement by the the CRacker Barrel Corp.
They either agree Phil Robertson is offensive or have imbeciles writing their press releases.
Maybe both.
We shall see.
Then I will never go to a Cracker Barrel again. They must prefer customer’s who prefer anus.
Seems clear what is going on here now.
Militant queers have gone too far this time.
Payback is coming.
