I didn’t know the sponge was supposed to be wet...
>> Yet the opinion he expressed, that homosexuality is a sin, is shared by 45 percent of Americans, according to a recent poll.
Whatever... it’s YAHWEH’s rule. It’s not subject to a vote, a poll, or a popularity contest.
A&E thought they'd broadcast DD thinking that the audience would be effeminate leftists poking fun at them, not realizing that the majority of viewers would come from the heartland. Now the Robertsons dared expressed their beliefs and A&E is panicking over what to do with them.
This thing isn’t all bad. This means that I can now fire my employees for expressing their religious beliefs outside the workplace. You know who you are, say ‘goodbye!’
I thought well over 70% of Americans believe in God.
If so, then I love to see the breakdown of those persons to see where they attend, if at all.
I would believe that any Muslim you asked would say homosexuality was sinful. I’d love to start parading Muslims out to support Christian and Jewish causes.
The government-media-educational complex hates half the country
Of course its common. Next thing you know they’ll discover that barbecued meats are quite popular with carnivores.
I would say it is common for EVERY non-homosexual to think this way
Mhat non-gay male is not disgusted with the thought of a another man’s anus?
His views are common among normal people. And normal among common people.
What fascinates me is the propaganda mechanism which is brought to bear to make normal people think they are the ones who are wrong. Its set on auto and it has a hair-trigger.
Great example of how the left operates. Culture and society are constantly changing. In the past things have usually changed very slowly and gradually. The left figured out that they can use the mass media and the education system to make changes quicker. The problem though is these are only shallow, quasi-intellectual changes...they don't have deep roots nearly anywhere but they're widespread. Wide and thin . The left then demonizes anyone who dares to poke their head out of this shallow pool and point out just how little substance there is to it.
Again?!
As much as I hate to stoop to childish, 3rd grade retorts...
NO SH*T, SHERLOCK (WaPo, not you, 2 Div)!!
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho!
A lot of air time is given to homosexual advocates who complain that people like Phil Robertson are trying to force their beliefs, views and religion on others.
But I haven’t heard anyone ask them if that isn’t exactly what homosexuals have done to the entire coubntry over the last 45 years or so.
Homosexuals can squawk all they want but the fact remains that homosexual sex is an un-natural act.
A fact easily understood by anyone who understands how a nut and bolt work or how a living baby is created.
Bingo. It's a business. And everybody is trying to hitch their wagon to it.
“Fully 78 percent of white evangelical Protestants agree with Robertson ...”
I’d be interested to hear the thoughts of the other 22% of “white evangelical Protestants” on the matter.
Not only are these views common among most Americans, they’re common among almost all of humanity. Always have been, and always will be, until humanity collectively wants to commit suicide.
Paula Deen was railroaded because she said the Mooch ate more than any other guest she’d ever had. Bam! She’s a racist and in the news for a word used 20 years ago.
Phil Robertson shunned Baba Waba for an interview. Bam! His GQ comments from October become front page news and “hate speech” in December. Not a word before he ignored that lisping so called “reporter”.
I'm pretty sure Andrew "Dice" Clay covered this in the 80s.
Fifty IQ knuckle-dragging liberal apes will never understand why normal people don’t want to eat feces.
