Some of President Obamas closest advisers are rethinking their plans to leave the White House, to help him regain his political standing and to avoid perceptions that staff members are either escaping or being forced out in a time of duress. Enlarge This Image Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images
Rob Nabors, a deputy chief of staff in the White House, is said to be among those rethinking their plans to leave their posts. Related

Among them are Alyssa Mastromonaco and Rob Nabors, both deputies to the White House chief of staff, Denis R. McDonough. Ms. Mastromonaco and Mr. Nabors have been with Mr. Obama from the beginning of his presidency, and Ms. Mastromonaco since the start of his Senate career. Both had wanted to leave at the end of the year but have decided to stay indefinitely, officials said.
Others who have indicated that they have put off their departures include the White House counsel, Kathryn Ruemmler, and Gene B. Sperling, who as director of the National Economic Council is Mr. Obamas chief economic adviser. Jeanne Lambrew, an architect of the Affordable Care Act, had also been hoping to leave but might remain for months more, according to officials familiar with her thinking.
Controversy over the health care law has helped drive Mr. Obamas approval ratings to new lows, a trend that the White House is scrambling to reverse.

The Co-Dependency (Faux) Presidency.
How much taxpayer money is being given as a “bonus” to these creeps to stay on with Obama so as not to embarrass his lowness?

Michael Corleone: Just when I thought I was out... they pull me back in.
Ha...too crude.......
Obama just reminded them that on leaving the White House they would be subject to Obamacare.
How many years will it take to clean up after this guy? Could take years.
I worked in a shop with a liberal owner who tried the team management thing. Everybody did their own thing and nothing productive got done till the owner’s daddy stepped in and fired about two thirds of the employees.

LOL. Lucky you!
Rats on the Titanic are concerned about their resumes!
Looks like there could be death panels for the staff too.
Well, those same aides have done such a GREAT job getting Zero to this point...
Those wanting to leave maybe don’t want to go out looking like they contributed to the problem. Who knows what these goofs think (outside of always wanting to grow government and reduce the private sector).
A well known question: “How long can you tread water?”
