A&E has placed Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson on indefinite hiatus following anti-gay remarks he made in a recent profile in GQ.
"We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty," A&E said in a statement. "His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely."

Robertson’s need to take their show elsewhere. A&E is too HeteroPhobic. Another network would love the revenue the Duck Dynasty brings in

I read his comments. Very logical and sound. The PAGANS chalk up another normal.
You need to rethink your position on the censoring of Phil Robertson. You may call it putting him on hiatus but it is censorship plain and simple. Pandering to a small vocal segment of the population will not improve your ratings or your bottom line.
I will be contacting the sponsors of the show and tell them that if the make the mistake of supporting your decision I will not be purchasing any of their products.
This is a family friendly show with family values, it is a shame that you are not supporting those values.

Just started watching this year, myself.
One of the first episodes I saw was was the one with Phil and the gay animal photographer.
I was hooked after that.
It would be very easy for the rest of the family to be cut loose as well....they just need to go on FNC and support what he said. PRESTO...they are fired too. Another net work will pick them up.
That’s the first show we just saw two nights ago. Loved it. The more Phil sticks to his convictions the better.

I have just looked over the programming list on A&E and realized there is not one other show that I care to watch. If I could drop stations ala carte they would be gone.
It was just a thought. Phil wanted out of the show so badly but had a contract and this is a pretty easy way to get kicked off the show. Just a possibility.
They should move their show from A&E. A&E needs them more than they need A&E.
Don’t think Phil would use tricks to get out of contract, at least not if he is an honorable person.
