The wedding of Danny Leclair, 45, and Aubrey Loots, 42, will take place atop a giant wedding cake-shaped float sponsored by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, according to a press release. It is the third float sponsored by the foundation.
...
Leclair and Boots will take their vows before the nearly 500,000 people who will line Colorado Boulevard on Jan. 1 and millions of television viewers watching around the globe.

Be sure to warn your friends, family and neighbors who ordinarily would let their kids watch the Rose Parade -- turn it off this year and do something else on that day.

Is this something that would be allowed if it were a straight couple?

Guess we’ll be at Mass and avoid the Rose Parade.

It is appropriate atop an AIDS cake.

why do we have to take an event, such as the Rose Parade, and make it into a demonstration for homosexual marriage???? Why do homosexual activists insist on doing this?? These people can get married anywhere else. Why decide to do it as part of the Rose Parade???
Why did Rose Parade officials agree to this? To prove how liberal they are? To avoid a boycott by the LGBT peoples??? What the heck???

Does the foundation realize the statistics of those with AIDS?

I can’t imagine a greater waste of time than watching a parade on TV. A parade on TV that includes a queer “marriage” takes it from exhaustively boring to utterly disgusting.

Lets hope the endless lines of motorhomes lining the parade route from all from cold weather states of the Midwest, northeast and east, stay home this year.
I’m not real confident though.

My understanding is that most of the floats are designed by just a few premiere float designing companies.
And you absolutely gotta know that if those companies are run by men (which most of them are) they are quite 'jolly' fellows.
Deny the gay wedding ceremony and it would become the hay bail and lawn clippings parade.

You must live in Pasadena!
Been there. Done that.
