Coming as it did on the weekend of the one-year anniversary of the Newtown, Connecticut school shooting that killed 26, plus the killer, and wounded two more, it is not surprising that the media downplayed or ignored aspects of the Friday the 13th school shooting in Centennial, Colorado, just miles away from both Columbine and Aurora, the scenes of two other horrific mass shootings.
But this latest incident offered a couple of narratives that the media preferred to ignore. The shooter was Karl Pierson, an 18-year-old, described as very bright, and an excellent debater, who had had run-ins with his debate coach. Early stories said he had been kicked off the debate team, later that he had only been disciplined. But either way, he was no longer an active participant on the team.

“why did he kill himself? Because an armed deputy who was assigned to the school came running immediately after hearing the first shot. What if there had been an armed deputy at Sandy Hook school in Newtown? How many lives might have been saved? How many injuries prevented?”

The shooter was also an avowed socialist.
Didn’t fit the agenda or narrative of the left. So therefore, it didn’t happen.

"Pierson also appears to mock Republicans on another Facebook post, writing ‘you republicans are so cute’ and posting an image that reads: ‘The Republican Party: Health Care: Let ‘em Die, Climate Change: Let ‘em Die, Gun Violence: Let ‘em Die, Women’s Rights: Let ‘em Die, More War: Let ‘em Die. Is this really the side you want to be on?’
The New York Daily News reported that Pierson was “described by students as having communist views,” and “hinted he felt strongly about curbing gun violence.”"
The media deliberately and intentionally deleted the facts that they didn’t like.
“When seconds count, the police are just minutes away.”
It takes some time to get dressed up in all that SWAT gear and get those armored personnel carriers moving, so they arrive well after the shootings take place.

Centennial, Colorado (CNN) — “To many of his neighbors, Colorado school gunman Karl Pierson was the wholesome boy next door who liked achievement and ran on the cross country team. He even worked on an Eagle Scout project two years ago.”
“To schoolmates, Pierson was known for his outspoken intelligence that served him well on the debate team. But at times, he acted “weird” and alienated peers with rants about communism and his aggressiveness to win every argument, they said.”
“I did think he was a little weird, but I didn’t think he was, like, bad weird,” Stutz added. “He always kind of talked about how America was a communist country, how the government was, like, trying to take us over and stuff.”

Ranting about the govt becoming communist, about the govt wanting to take us over, wanting to join the eeevil military. Libs saying he has all the earmarks of a Tea Partier.
What I find sickly amusing, is that when commi-libs say they are against certain social ills; no war but peace, gun ownership, etc., they turn to violence and other acts of evil to make their points heard.
Actually, I read a quote from a fellow student who used the word Marxist to describe his political leanings.
“Senior Chris Davis, 18, told CNN that Pierson was “a self-proclaimed communist, just wears Soviet shirts all the time.” The Wall Street Journal noted that Davis said Pierson once wore a shirt emblazoned with the letters U.S.S.R. and described himself as a communist.
An ABC News report noted that students said Pierson held communist views and liked to discuss current events and issues and pose his own solutions.”
Wouldn’t surprise me much.
And yes, it is sick that the left uses and espouses violence to advance their point/agenda.
Flispide is, they are against people defending themselves against attack.

When he talked about America supposedly becoming a communist country, it was probably something he was looking forward to.

Dillon Whatshisname (a Columbine shooter) also had “strong feelings about curbing gun violence.”
He opposed concealed carry law legislation in Colorado.
