The United States named a new Full Admiral in Washington, D.C. Friday--and it's an African American woman. She's will be the first ever female in Naval history to win a fourth star assuming the Senate approves President Obama's nomination. The Navy announced her nomination in an official release.
Vice admiral Michelle Howard,53, is currently the deputy chief of naval operations, plans, and strategy. She will serve as the Navy's second ranking officer, vice chief of naval operations, just a single step below the Navy's top officer, the chief of naval operations.

Thank you so much, EveningStar.
Again, it is obvious that you spend no time with military. They are not saying what you are saying. You are insulting them. Spend some time with some wounded warriors. They would be happy to enlighten you. They would agree with not a word you have said. And they would have no problem telling you that...in no uncertain terms.
Yes I will do that tomorrow
Your maniacal taunting has caused me to change my mind
Thanks for the re education!
No one was taunting you. But soldiers and marines would strongly disagree with you. Whose point of view has more credibility? I am going to go with those who have served and are back from Afghanistan. There is nothing weak about them. Their strength and courage is tremendous. No one who knows them would say otherwise. Nor would they ever insult them. Get our military back? Again, our military has not gone anywhere. It is still the best of the best. Especially when it comes to strength and courage. I was not rude to you.
Not many males are "lesbos", but it seems to advance in Hussein's military, you must either be a lesbo or a gay caballero,
I agree with you. If the Chiefs support her she’s good.
LOL. My husband of 47 years thought this quite funny. Methinks you might be a bit homophobic. A little bit threatened by strong women too. Quit the combination there.
Good to hear, congratulations on a lengthy marriage.
Methinks you might be a bit homophobic. Quit the combination there.
I never cared for the term "homophobic", not because I care or give a flip about what anyone thinks, but because it is grossly inaccurate in 99% of the cases. The root of the word "phobia" means fear. I have no fear of gays swishers, but I do have an aversion, and outright disgust.
The media, gays and the PC crowd have succeeded in convincing everyone that if you do not condone and embrace the homos and their aberrant gay lifestyle, that somehow YOU are the one that is not quite right. I guess I must be on the list for further indoctrination, because this is contrary to thousands of years of teaching, religion and norms.
A little bit threatened by strong women too.
Enemies of Hillary Clinton have been described as "threatened by strong women". Most so-called "strong" women fall into the obnoxious overbearing category, like the Beast. She was disbarred and a total failure as Secretary of State. If anyone could point to anything constructive she accomplished, I'd like to hear about it. Just another example that "loud, obnoxious and overbearing" is a not an effective management technique. It certainly didn't help our people [including the gay ambassador] at Benghazi. I don't find that threatening.
All this rhetoric, however, ignores the REAL issue here: Is Michelle Howard the BEST person to become a four star admiral, regardless of her gender, or is she someone who fulfills Hussein 0bama's desire to weaken our military. In the gushing article announcing her nomination, I saw nothing that indicated she was any better than anyone else. Given 0bama's history of removing those at the top of the military who desire to defend The Constitution, I have to believe she may have sworn fealty to him first, and The Country and The Constitution be damned. My guess from his track record of appointments, she could be as incompetent and evil as Kathleen Sebelius (another example of a so-called STRONG woman?).
I think we have found common ground...instead of homophobic..or embracing a lifestyle different than mine..may I please just check the box...Uninterested? Please. Just..don’t care.
