For the second week in a row, the Washington Healthplanfinder website is down, and it's causing problems for people who are dealing with billing issues. Some of them say the website is mistakenly debiting their accounts. Shannon Bruner of Indianola logged on to her checking account Monday morning, and found she was almost 800 dollars in the negative. The first thing I thought was, I got screwed, she said.

If you’re going to deal with the government it’s probably better to get a debit card and just putting the right amount into it. Of course, they may not accept that as a payment option.
However, there are people without checking accounts. I have a renters who are Wal-Mart employees. They always pay with a money order rather than a check. I suspect they don’t have enough money to have an account without fees. But they’ve never missed a payment.
I don’t think my wife and I could recover from an 800 dollar negative in our account, especially at this time of year, Christmas, two vehicle insurances due, regular household bills and in Jan. is house insurance and property Taxes. Krap we would be devastated!
- A hundred million dollar ($100,000,000) Afreakin vacation is just a perk .
What are the chances that the ‘hackers’ are a revenue branch of Organizing for America?
Any time you give up, voluntarily, your banking information you run the risk of this happening. Todate, I pay only two bills via electronic check and only one of those is over the internet. Why not more? I have no confidence that anyone who “raids” my banking account will be punished for that criminal act.
If the AFA, aka ObamaCare, is going to have any chance of survival both the Federal Government and Washington’s state government must find how this happened and who is responsible. Then there must be a high speed public trial with large fines and jail time. otherwise, there is absolutely no guarantee that it will not happen again on even a larger scale.
And, what’s the odds of a bureaucracy punishing one of their own for?
Someone living paycheck to paycheck, and they have a nanny?
To make matters worse for the WA State Obamacare enrollees, we read this on Friday -
The Puget Sound Business Journal pours some cold water on the frequently rainy region:
The on-again, off-again technology problems at the Washington state health exchange may have serious repercussions for Medicaid enrollees, who could lose coverage if the problems keep them from recertifying their eligibility. . . .
People on Medicaid must recertify that they’re financially eligible for coverage once a year or their coverage is terminated.
In November, for the first time, Medicaid enrollees were required to recertify through the exchange’s Healthplanfinder website. It’s an entirely new process for people who were familiar with the old, on-paper process for maintaining coverage.
In November, only about 30,000 managed to recertify (down from the average 60,000). Starting Dec. 1, about 23,000 people lost health care coverage. So far, 18,000 of those people are still without coverage, HCA officials said.
Remember, the overwhelming majority of Obamacare sign ups in WA State were assigned to Medicaid, as $52,000 is the average income in much of WA, outside the Seattle-Tacoma area.
