A private organization that monitors radiation data from network points across the United States issued email alerts today for two Western U.S. cities, Reno, Nev., and St. George, Utah.
The alerts came from the the Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center, which explains its mission is to provide radiation monitoring information from hundreds of sites in Japan and the U.S., including those run by the Environmental Protection Agency.
The warning pinpointed an area of concern in St. George, Utah, where background radiation levels more than doubled today from the typical reading.
In Reno, the current background radiation level has increased suddenly by more than 200 points from the typical average.
The report said the counts per minute at St. George reach an all-time high of 456, while the average is 222 with a normal deviation of 55.
In Reno, the CPM suddenly surged to 462. The all time high is 542. The average is 279 with a deviation of 56.2.

You’re absolutely correct. Many folks don’t believe me when I tell them about this. The original cause was when U.S. detonated a nuclear device from a balloon at area 49, I believe. Right next to area 51.
I live near Seattle and I have a detector.
So far, I can say there is most probably an increase.
But it has been very, very, very minimal.
Normal readings where I am came in at (these are all approximations) 30-60 CPM.
Lately, when I monitor, I generally come in with readings of 40-75 CPM.
A person in Seattle would get a worse exposure if he simply moved to Spokane - the avg background levels there being higher because of the Hanford Nuclear reservation complex.
Tepco just admitted that most of the fuel in Reactor #1 escaped the reactor pressure vessel RPV and entered the containment vessel CV. And they admitted that more fuel then they had thought has escaped the RPV of #3. So two melt outs confirmed now by Tepco.
That would have been Shot Hood, at 73KT the biggest atmospheric test in the US.
Even crazier. I guess it is really rare and really fast moving. He caught it on a routine diabetes eye exam. Completely cured but had to get a glass eye.
This was 10-15 years ago. He developed a few other cancers over the years. Beat them all. Kidneys gave out and killed him a year or two ago.
The Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center has absolutely nothing to do with Obama.
Algebra is merely the carrying out of arithmatic operations with regard to the signs of the numbers.
They invented the name “Algebra.”
If you were “teeming” with radiation, there would have to be a source.
Don’t get too credulous of “biofeedback.” It’s just a way to learn to control your brain waves, and means little.
Then, there’s kahwah, aka coffee. Mocha, etc.
Sad, but true.
I would trust these readings far more than any gov’t agency.
From the article:
“The alerts came from the the Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center, which explains its mission is to provide radiation monitoring information from hundreds of sites in Japan and the U.S., including those run by the Environmental Protection Agency.”
These are the authoritative scientists.
WND are the people that have the courage to be honest with us.
>> “Anyone know why not?” <<
.
You’re assuming a ‘pinpoint,’ but why?
>> “The posted piece is hysteria from socialist crooks” <<
.
Your baseless opinion.
“Just this past week I was told by a biofeedback naturopath that I am teeming with radiation. “
Oh please.
Well ... you can join that “scientific network” and issue alerts from your backyard ... LOL ...
“Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center, LLC (Netc.com) is selling a complete turn-key package to set-up a radiation monitoring site at your location. There are limited amount of packages that are available at this time and price. When disaster comes, like in Japan (Japan has installed over 2500 sites) we will need as many sites up and collecting radiation for the benefit of you and the public. So these packages are as inexpensive as possible to get these sites running, ASAP.”

My brother built most of the existing slabs and paved ditches in the area adjacent to area 51 in the mid to late 70s, and he has had no problems.
That is how a broad area monitoring program works.
It is done with air temps too.
Get a brain!
And who calibrates the units and insures that they are operating properly?
This is simply a private company making money off the public by selling these units to anyone who wants them - and who knows if the people who are installing them can calibrate them and insure that they are operating properly month-to-month.
Don’t be fooled by the fancy sounding name of the company ... :-) ...
Had friends who moved to Reno from CA a few years ago and they always complained about the cold winters in Reno...
Maybe the radiation will heat um up a bit.
