Two days ago Paul Ryan and Patty Murray announced a budget deal. Forty-eight hours later, it passes the House. In the two days since the announcement, Boner attacks conservatives twice. One of of attacks included something to the effect that conservative groups didn't have a chance to read the bill before being against the bill.
What ever happened to a little deliberative process? I certainly did not have time to read the bill. I did not have time to convey my thoughts to my congressman, Scott Perry (R-PA), who voted for the bill. Did Scott Perry even read the bill? How many congressmen read the bill?
I know the Senate is supposed to be the deliberative body in Congress, but the Republicans do not have a majority in the Senate. Boner pushed this bill through as fast as he could, because he knew the wrath of conservatives that would occur if congressmen went home over the holidays and the American public knew what was in the bill.
There is a reason why committees exist. There is a reason why meetings and hearings are held. The biggest of which is that there are no surprises on short notice. Boner is no better that Pelosi. Most Republicans might as well be Democrats.
There is a serious problem in Washington and unfortunately my congressman is now a part of the problem.
heeeeeeeeeeeeer’s Johnny!
Really? what was the vote?... who voted "for"?
please excuse my typos ... darn iPad and I was watching the hockey game while writing.
She is from WA state,, I am like the spelling po-po.Sawree!
>> When I heard that Ryan struck a deal with Murray I knew immediately it had to be a bad deal because who Murray is.
I assume they’re having an affair. I don’t see any other possible explanation.
see the top of breaking news ... roll call 640 vote.
She the right size for him, but she doesn’t have a flat head and I seriously doubt if she turns into a six pack and a pizza at midnight.
It passed with over 330 supporting it.
I heard Boehner on the radio and my thought was the same....he’s channeling Pelosi. This guy is worse than worst.
Shot in the back again. Or should that be shot in the backroom again?
Maybe it was a bedroom?
Okay, let’s get real here. Do you expect have our views taken seriously writing a perverted screed like this repeatedly writing out the word for an erect male penis?
Grow up.
They don’t even write the bills.
Their staffers do. They are just their collecting paychecks, benefits and bribes while those that can’t be touched write the code that destroys America.
They do not know or care what’s in it.
I am so pissed. The military retirees NOW are getting screwed while the federal workers who start on January 1st are getting screwed, but current federal workers are not being affected. Ok so I am both but the military retiree thing pisses me off so much. And then Ryan saying that everyone must be treated fairly in this bill Oh really? Why do current federal employees get exempt but current military retirees do not? Some kind of fairness .

1. Politically, you only attack what you are fearful of.
2. Boehner is using the same verbiage as Democrats to attack the Tea Party.
3. Boehner and the GOPe are all fearful of what the Tea Party will do.
4. This should be enough OPTICS and NARRATIVE so show that the GOPe and Democrats are ALL AFRAID of losing their jobs more than steering the country.
Period. They ALL must be primaried out.
What was the vote on the bill? How did the “Tea Party” reps vote? The Republicans and the Democrats together seem determined to end the Republic before the next elections.
50 in the house! It’s on another thread
