Conservative activists are hitting back.
More than 50 high profile conservatives signed onto a statement Wednesday responding to both House Speaker John Boehners harsh words for conservative groups earlier in the day and to the firing of the Republican Study Committees long-time executive director Paul Teller.
It is clear that the conservative movement has come under attack on Capitol Hill today, the statement reads.

Without a doubt conservatives should vote Democrat for the House in Boehner’s district. It is only just to do so. Boehner will take his primary 4-1. People in OH are too uninformed to know that he is liberal.
Have you heard of an old PA politician named Boies Penrose, who died in 1921? He wouldn’t let a Democrat push him around they way the two McCs and Boehner do.
Are you on board with Lamar! in TN?
He ran on the R ticket. Republicans have gone DC native—Establishment. Cruz ain’t no Republican, but for ticket.
YET, anyway.
To stop they attack and soften the blows, they’ll vote another raise for themselves.
Rush might could have stopped Romney and McPain had he “endorsed”, but the FCC rules may not permit him to do so.
If you leave the GOP, can you still vote against Lamar! in TN?
KY people still believe in McC, like Anne Frank believing in the “basic goodness” of her captors.
“Are you on board with Lamar! in TN?”
Huh?
:-) He is orange though.
All the local yokels care about is how much pork Mc brings home to them.
They’re mostly yellow dog Democrats by and large.
However, McC has a machine that mimics the Cook County machine and he is ruthless in ensuring he retains power.
The salient point is not that they are ignorant, it is that they disagree with conservatives who want to play into the Democrat playbook to shut down the government again. The majority does not want that.
The GOP-E RepubliCAN’T surrendership is acting exactly as predicted. Time to make any and all a historic ‘has been’ in the next elections to choose who will represent we, the people. Not one penny to the GOP-E sponsored PACs.
War has been declared and Obama and the RINOS will combine to defeat every Tea Party Primary candidate who runs.
The privileged political class fears the People and their genuine representatives.
Its like we need someone loud yet gentle who doesnt care about his popularity (or infamy) to get onto media and just freaking talk PAST the reporter questions directly to the American people and let them know what is REALLY going on.
I'm not much of a YouTube surfer, but I got on there and did some surfing the other night out of sheer boredom, and I was amazed at all of the ordinary citizens who are posting videos and speaking their minds about the current U.S. situation.
Name a subject that we talk about here, and I can guarantee you there are dozens of videos with people expressing views like ours, there on that site.
Just finding that all this explosive communication is happening there, gave me a bit of comfort. I know that the young low infos who don't listen to Rush, and who would never even think to look for a place like FR, are absorbing the same logic and reasoning from that channel.
If we really want to get through to the low infos, that's the place to do it. It's where their eyeballs are.
Don’t forget the HupA impact.
My sentiments, too.
This is why you have a people who will tell you that voting for the lesser of two evils is righteousness, and that refusing to vote for the foisted candidate is a greater evil.
That is a very insightful comment. It's as plain as the nose on your face, if you still have a shred of core principles left.
What really surprises me, is that there are still people posting regularly to this site, that it was the voters' fault that Romney lost the election -- not the other way around.
I've tried to explain til I'm blue in the face, that it was Romney who failed to make the sale with a decisive margin of voters, and that it was solely because he's a fraud and they knew it. He is such a fraud, that he lost an election that, by all rights, should have been a cake walk for the Republican nominee.
Even worse, the Republican establishment somehow thought he was the perfect candidate to oppose Obama. I mean, how out of touch with the current track of history do you have to be to think such a thing??
Or......perhaps they're not out of touch at all. Perhaps they know full well, the depth and breadth of the ongoing treason against us, and are merely collaborators with The New Order.
Whatever you aren’t understanding, it’s not my problem.
